Detailed Reviews
A good guesthouse in the center of U B. Supermarket almost next door and a lot of good restaurants within 5 min walk. All attractions within 15-20 min walk. On 4 th floor in old appartment building. 4 double rooms share bath/toilet. No ques when we stayed 4 nights. On the other side og stairs smsll reception, dormitory, kitchen and breakfast/social room. Small varied egg based breakfast. Free Wifi very good to be in Mongolia.
Victor & staff/family are friendly and helpful and also can give you reliable airport shuttle at 35€ and day trips or several days tours to Gobi or central Mongolia.
We highly recommend this guesthouse with a very fair price (22USD pr night double with breakfast).

The GuestHouse was comfy/clean and great quality for price! Also wonderful location w/in walking distance to city center.
The tour arranged was wonderful! We did a 10 day tour through the Gobi desert (and a few days in central Mongolia). Food was delicious, sights were amazing our our tour guider (Sayko) and driver (Degay) were so much fun and very helpful.
Tips before going: take a picture of the itinerary and ask which days you'll have showers available (a few gers don't have showers which is fine, just is helpful to know which days you'll have them 😊 ), bring lots of entertainment for the long/bumpy drives (unavoidable regardless of which tour group you go with, there's a lot of distance between sights, but the sights are worth it!!)

Read a review that highly recommended this place for the city and for organised tours, booked it. Was definitely not disappointed at all. I arranged a pick up from the airport that went smoothly. I was a little dubious at first as I entered the building and climbed the steps, but all good. Room, I booked the private room, was comfortable and big, shower was clean. If I could have changed one thing, it was to have a separate shower and toilet. Breakfast was a plus, tasty and filling. I booked a tour with them opting for a driver and a guide, this was really good. Got to learn so much about the culture and country. Stayed in a ger which is thoroughly recommended. I experienced temperatures of 30 degrees and 0 degrees. The room never got too hot or too cold. Had an early morning flight so again through them booked a driver to head to the airport. Little worried about the early start, but the same driver I has on previous 2 occasions turned up early. Really would recommend this place if you want somewhere reasonable, close to the city and easy to get trips/ taxis organised. Staff are very helpful and friendly and look out for you making your stay there very comfortable and welcoming.

The location is suitable for sightseeing in the city. The bedroom was very nice because I had a private space.
This guesthouse have all tour fees is low. But Please be careful when planning any tours. It is obvious that the price is related to the number of people, the location, and the number of days, but it is also mainly related to the driver's language ability and the role of the guide. If you enjoy more, you choose the driver who is able to English speaker.
The strength of this guesthouse is that accommodation and tour fees are low. However, there are many points for improvement in the content of the tour. I think all tours in Mongolia are expensive and take a long time, so choose an accommodation that has a lot of reviews that say the tour content is good. Also, please find good friends to travel with at the inn.

I didn't stay, but I asked to tour. We went directly to the Guest house to arrange a tour for the next day, and they were willing to help us.
During the four-night, five-day tour, our Guide, who is fluent in English, showed us around historical sites and nomadic life in detail! It was also a valuable experience to hear about nomadic families through a Guide.
Both the driver who accompanied us and the Guest house staff were very kind and enjoyed the trip throughout.
I'm a little lost in the Guest house entrance, but dare you knock on the 4th floor door! The friendly staff will greet you.

Having traveled around Asia for almost a year, I can safely say this is the nicest guesthouse i have ever stayed in. Friendly staff, central location and excellent facilities. For its city center location is is remarkably quiet. The wonderful owners have become like a second family to me during my long stay.

My best friend suggested, I should stay at the Guesthouse instead of an apartment for 3 months. I decided to visit a day before I check-In and it turns out the dormitory beds are the kind I was looking, for my future Projects in West Africa & Alaska. The workers are all fluent in English, superb character and very accommodating. My personal interaction is far greater than I ever had in my previous travels around Mongolia. I consider it a blessings to be around while I am also learning a true hand experience, someday I might have to open a Bed & Breakfast Lounge. A posted Midnight Policy 12:00 AM that was implemented RESPECT to have a sound inter-relationship among Guest, but some Guest are totally dysfunctional moron instead of respect to others they look at it as insult. The cleanliness of the Hostel is awesome with a super plus knowledge of the entire countryside of Mongolia region. The Tour Guide is also a great Chef of Mongolia cuisine. I can highly recommend to all my friends in the US to stay with this particular Guesthouse. You can have that feeling of a family away from home type of environment.

I travelled thorough Gobi desert with this company for 5 days in July 2017. They been so kind to allow me to join the tour in last minute since I was struggling to find other people to make a group. Driver Tsendee, and two guides Amartuvshiin and Minjmaa really made us feel comfortable and safe. Very knowable and polite they really made friendly atmosphere always meeting our needs and wishes. We visited several amazing sites where only excellent driver could pass without problem! Guides always joined us for hiking giving all information about nature and history of places. Food they cooked was very testy and we had some great meals in the middle of the desert or in rocks in sunset! I can only strongly recommend this tour as it was more journey with the friends, without pushing, running or fake over politeness. In total one of the best experiences in my life!! Thank you guys, so much and good luck!!!

We booked this room for a one night stay in Ulanbator. The owner Victor had promised to pick us up at the airport, and when our flight changed, we were able to communicate by email and by phone to re-confirm the pick up time. We had a really early check out at 5am, and Victor was again ready to take us to the airport. The guesthouse is coveniently located on Peace Avenue, and is a fifteen minute walk from Chinggis Khan square. There are two buildings a grey section which is the main reservations area, and a cream coloured two story building which is a short walk away. The nearest landmark is the Selbe River Bridge. If you are taking the bus get off at the stop after the Selbe River Bridge then cross the road. The guesthouse is in the parking area to the left after the Ministry of Labour building, which is a huge white building with imposing columns and four guardian lions in front.
The bedroom had a single queen bed with a sofa, and was comfortable. There was a small living room which had a fridge, but no other furniture. The bathroom was small but comfortable, and a welcome relief for us,as we had just returned from a trip to the Altai Region, and had our first hot shower in a week. The building is wooden, so you will regularly hear sounds from other rooms, but we did not hear the Ulanbator traffic. We were happy with the service provided, as the staff at the desk was very attentive, although she spoke little English. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and we were pleasantly surprised when we heard her knocking at 4am and announcing that breakfast was served. Sodas and water may be purchased from the front desk, but we are not sure about meals, as we only had a light breakfast. If we return to Ulanbator, we would be happy to stay here again.

The manager Victor was very professional, he transfer me for a fee from airport. The single room was cheap, 15 $/night, but the hostel it's noisy, especially in the ground floor. Free breakfast, and good advises. The place it's really in the city center, just behind a ministry, 25 m. from Peace Avenue.
