Hotel was gorgeous, marble columns and dramatic staircase. Had some difficulty making ourselves understood at the front desk, but the staff were certainly eager to help. Large rooms, only downside was no air-conditioning. Relatively short work to shops and restaurants and a slightly longer walk to the main square.

The exterior of the hotel makes it look more fancy than it is. It is a pleasant hotel with comfortable, bright rooms (corner room best). Pleasant breakfast and the hotel is not far from the main square. Intermittent hot water. Overall, exceeded my expectations for a Mongolian hotel.

We stayed her for one night at the beginning and one night at the end of our trip to Mongolia and had a good stay. Our travel company had chosen this hotel and as we were three people we received a huge apartment on the 4th floor: lots of space including a kitchen, living room, etc. The apartment was really... Since there's so much wrong here, I'll use bullet points for brevity! - Bathroom light is an exposed bulb - Bath plug is too small, bath impossible - Shower is hot for only a few seconds before turning cold - nasty clingy IKEA shower curtain over a bath - Stains on a hand towel, presumably unchanged - Water from tap... Stayed at the the hotel for 2 weeks. The hotel was comfortable with large rooms, and convienant to government offices. The hotel is around many construction sites, but the noise was not a problem, though construction on the hotel's facade is ongoing, and can be noisy during the day. The staff at the hotel were always dilligent, willing to help... More

We stayed here at the beginning and end of a two week cycling tour so not sure what the cost was but the hotel wasn't busy, though there was a wedding on the first night so avoid staying on that side of the building. The rooms are massive with large bathrooms. Facilities are somewhat tired with broken electrical fittings and... More

The building is quite a sight. All white columns and wedding cake looking. Which was funny because it hosted a wedding on the second night we were there. Altogether an OK hotel, but there were holes in the bathroom exposing plumbing and the shower was a little hard to use. The plus was that it had very robust toilet paper!... More

- We stayed two nights in this hotel before our 20 day Big Loop trip and four nights afterwards - all organised by the toor operator. - The hotel building and its dining room are really Grand and the dining room decor is impressive. Just like it was imported from Europe a few centuries ago. But unfortunately this is as... More

An older hotel that was not real busy but provided good service at a reasonable price, at least when getting an organisation negotiated rate. Room was large and bed comfortable and sheets and towels clean. Pillow a bit hard, but that is common. Desk okay for work and internet by wire was good. One morning water was off but they... More
