The location of the hotel is just excellent, however the rooms are rather old. Odor of Korean restaurant with something unidentified was just chasing me throughout my entire stay at the hotel. Stopped there for four days. During one or of four days there was no hot water. Would try another place next time I'm I'm UB.

Adequate hotel, but for what you are paying is not too good. Stayed there for 3 nights and was underwhelmed for what I paid. More of a 3 star hotel that is charging 4.5/5 star hotel prices (for UB that is). Service is a bit off for the price, rooms are a bit dated and could do with a refresh. Better options in UB - especially at the price they are charging. Unlikely to stay there again unless prices do drop. A;so the gym can only be accessed with a key from the front desk and was not what you'd expect from a hotel of this price range.

Rooms are spacious and clean with heated bathroom (very good especially when the weather starts to get cold). Service and WIFI are both good. Hotel is located close to the Shangri-La mall and Sukhbaatar Square.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and always founds rooms quite suitable, well cleaned and has CNN on cable. The problem has always been the dining room. Breakfast still ok, but there has been a great improvement in the lunch/ dinner menu and the food preparation. The chicken burger especially good as was pasta with mushrooms with plenty of fresh varied mushrooms. Staff always friendly and helpful.

Location: The hotel is only a few mins walk to the Sukbataar Square. Excellent location, no need for taxis with so many places close by- shopping centers (Shangrila mall a min or so away), coffee shops, restaurants (Shangrila hotel’s restaurant is so near). There’s also a Korean restaurant in the 2nd floor. The main shopping center is a 15 min walk from the hotel with numerous coffee shops, supermarkets, souvenir shops (much cheaper than the shops at Genghis Khan Statue), restaurants & Sukhbaatar Square are along the way. Staff: Very friendly, helpful English speaking staff. Uyanga, the reservation manager was at the reception when we arrived. It was our wedding anniversary day & she upgraded us to a big room facing the main square. Terrific view esp at sunset. Love it! Room: very clean & well kept. They even changed the toothbrush kits daily. Breakfast, which was included, was delicious & consisted of hot (omelette on request) and cold (though, not a lot of variety of fruits) items. At this time, there’s construction nearby. Fortunately, we did not hear the noise.
