We have been completely blown away by the hospitality in this hotel! When we first arrived at the train station at 7 in the morning, we were met and driven back to the hotel free of charge! They also drove us back to the train station early in the morning when we had to leave. The following days a very nice woman prepared wonderful breakfasts for us too, and they had laundry service! We didn’t really have any specific plans for our five-day stay here in UB, so when we asked at the hotel if they had recommendations and they replied by offering to personally drive us out to the steps we were blown away! They organized to drive us to the steps along with a lovely guide, and it was truly remarkable. They had organized camel-riding, meals in local restaurants and gers, and we even got to sleep in our own personal ger! They also arranged to drive us to the Chinggis Khan statue when we asked them last minute one of our last days! Gobi Attraction truly made our Mongolia-experience the best it could be, and we are pretty sure this is one of the most hospitable hotels in all of Asia! We hope we will get to come back to Mongolia soon, and if we do, we definitely know what place is the best place to stay! Thank you so very much, Love from the three norwegian girls who stayed with you in January 2020❤️

We had an amazing 11 days holiday with Gobi Attractions. Hogy, Lhagvaa, Eku, Tsengel and the 3 riding guides are the best team to run Mongolia trip. Especially Eku & Tsengel, they did really good job in their profession. They can tell all the history, culture & stories about Mongolia, always keep us safe and comfortable in the trip. Meanwhile, they are energetic and positive person, everything in can-do thinking. They take care of us with patience, try to fulfill all of our wants, and their great sense of humor to keep us always in a good mood. We ride, dance, archery, wrestling, ball games together, just like friends more then guides. Eku & Tsengel colorful our trip! Grateful we had them, give us a great impression of Mongolia & Mongolian. Thank you guys gave us such a memory.

We travelled 14 days through Central Mongolia and Gobi Desert and we had the best trip with Gobi Attraction we could have imagined. We planned the trip with Hogy who answered all our questions quickly and prepared us for the journey. During the trip we travelled with Lhagvaa, our driver, and Eku, our guide. Lhagvaa is a very safe driver who knew all the off road ways perfectly and always managed to repair the car whenever it was necessary. But he was also very caring and made sure we were not cold during the night, for example. Eku did not only tell us all the facts to know about the places we visited but also entertained us and cooked for us (even vegetarian food). He took so much care in everything he did for us. We feel so greatful we travelled with Gobi Attraction and we would love to come back and explore Mongolia with Eku and Lhagvaa again. Thank you both for being our driver, guide, cook and friends!

I chanced upon Gobi Attraction and researched further on TA. The reviews were all good and gave me confidence to proceed without thinking twice. Everything went according to plan, with some unexpected extras – a cultural performance, snow in September and Sand Dunes Festival in Khongor. We are extremely happy with the warmth and service extended by the team of Hogy, Lhagvaa and Eku during our 13-day trip. Communications with Hogy & Eku was easy, as they speak good English with hardly any local accent. Hogy – Host & owner From my first contact with Hogy, who is very accommodating and always courteous, the entire trip (itinerary, budget, etc) was finalised via email. We were met and picked up from the airport, and taken to the Guesthouse. On our 10-day central Mongolia & Gobi Desert tour, Hogy patiently answered our questions and also what we can expect to see. Hogy single-handedly manages all the administrative part of our trip, as well as accommodation in UB, and prepared delicious breakfasts for us. Airport transfers, accommodation & breakfast is included when you sign up for a tour package! The guesthouse is in immaculate condition, with complimentary hot drinks and is nearby to restaurants, shop and the State Dept store. Simply Perfect! I totally agree with their vision for Gobi Attraction, to provide excellent service with a personal touch to ensure guests get the full Mongolian experience. GER stays with nomad families are preferred, and trips can be customised according to individual needs. Lhagvaa – Driver A first rate driver with a fantastic memory and GPS in his head. He unerringly navigated us safely covering 2,100km in 10 days. Much of Mongolia is vast open grasslands / steppe, with limited landmarks, no road names or directional signs. Many a time we went off-road, and followed track marks. I am still flummoxed as to how Lhagvaa knows which track to follow where there’s a spilt. Lhagvaa is also very in-tune with his Russian van, able to ‘hear’ when something is not right, stopping immediately. Over the course of the trip, the trusty 'Bukhanka' (Russian: 'loaf of bread') had rear drivetrain mini-overhaul, 2x fanbelt changes, a leaf-spring band-aid fix, carburettor unclogging and a tyre change, with basically zero impact to the itinerary. Testament as much to the hardcore keep-it-simple&rugged Russian engineering as to the mechanical brilliance and ingenuity of our driver Lhagvaa Samdanbazar. Lhagvaa is also blessed with sharp eyes with superb long range vision. At Khutsai National Park, though the area was blanketed in snow, he managed to spot Takhi wild horses high up on a distant cliff. His persistence and effort to deliver this once-in-a lifetime experience is most commendable. He was careful not to disappoint us, which is truly appreciated. Eku - Guide A young man with an ‘old soul’, Eku totally loves romantic oldies from the 50s & 60s, much to our surprise and delight. Well-versed beyond his age, he can converse over a wide range of topics, in addition to showing and sharing the history and culture of his beautiful country. He looked after us very well, cooking our breakfasts & dinners, entertaining us with interesting stories after dinner over drinks. Eku is a responsible, conscientious guide who is committed to ensure our comfort at all times. While on the road trip, he would arrange for a stove in our GER on cold nights. Before turning in for the night, he makes sure there is enough firewood and pops in again the next morning to get the fire going, making getting out of the sleeping bag a more comfortable experience. He has a great sense of humour, infinite patience and is a fun person to be with. Gobi Attraction Guesthouse - Excellent location - very clean and comfortable beds - two dorms (sleeps 6 & 8) - 1 double room - living room with Flat screen TV - self-service kitchen with complimentary hot drinks Thank you Hogy, Lhagvaa and Eku for making our stay in Mongolia unforgettable. One of our party had a birthday surprise with a cake and red wine on Day-2, courtesy of Gobi Attraction. Their thoughtfulness is very much appreciated. We wish you the best and hope to see you again, Cheers!

We had a lovely time at Gobi Attraction! The hostel is very clean and the hospitality of the hosts was truly exceptional. We also did a tour organized by Gobi Attraction (with a 2-day notice!), everything went perfectly and the tour itself was amazing. It's very affordable and we still had a hard time even trying to pay the full price. We can highly recommend Gobi Attraction and also Mongolia as a country, a very nice place to visit! :)

We did amazing 18-day tour with Gobi Attraction. I organized the tour a month before our arrival to Mongolia. The offer of Gobi attraction was the best. The communication with Hogy was very fast and smooth. She organized the tour as we wanted and she included all the places we wanted to see in our itinenary. We were travelling with 13 year old child and it was't a problem. We met Hogy before our departure from Ulaan Bataar and she explained us everything. The tour as unforgettable. We did Gobi desert and Northern Mongolia trip. The highlight was the Gobi desert, especially Khermen Tsav, which is the most beautiful place in Mongolia. Very remote in the desert and a lot of agencies didn't want to take us there but Gobi Attraction did. We also did an amazing 3 day horse trekking to Tsaatan reindeer herders which was so great. Also the local gudies were very nice, friendly and helpful. Our driver Tsengee (Eldewt) was a great driver, very experienced driver, the Boss! He drove us safely through Mongolia which is sometimes very hard. We also had very friendly and nice guide Gerele. She become our friend and we had a great time with her. He was trying to make us feel comfortable all the time. Most of the nights we slept in the gers, which was very comfortable and most of the nights we had fire in the gers as it can get very cold during the night in some places. Hogy also helped us with the tickets for Nadaam festival. Thanks to Hogy, Tsangee, Gerele and Gobi Attraction we had a tour of our life in Mongolia and I would highly recommed Gobi Attraction!

I cannot truly explain what an incredible trip we had with Gobi Attraction. Mongolia is an amazing country with a rich history and beautiful landscape. I did a lot of research on tours that would take us to the Gobi Desert and I am so glad we chose to travel with Gobi Attraction. From the communication between Hogy and I, to the ease of travel, this trip could not have been planned better. Our guide Eku was fantastic! He knew so much about every location we went to and was able to answer all of my questions. He knows many local families and other guides and is a true expert on Mongolia! (And as he kept saying to me, it’s because he is made in Mongolia). He cooked us breakfast and dinner every single night we were there, and every meal was delicious! Hogy’s guesthouse was lovely, clean and easy to get to! They had a driver pick us up from the airport and take us back at the end of our trip. Hogy was extremely accommodating when I realized I had sent her the wrong travel dates and she changed our trip itinerary mid-trip to ensure that we still saw as much as we could. We are thinking about traveling to Mongolia again, but visiting another part of the country. We will 100% book this with Gobi Attraction. Thank you for the wonderful holiday!

My boyfriend and I stayed in the double room for 6 nights, and we absolutely loved it! The place is cozy and clean with a homey, family feel. Hogy, the manager, is very friendly and helpful. She didn’t pressure us to take any tours, which we really appreciated, and she gave us objective information about the local attractions. She also makes excellent breakfasts, which were included in the price of the stay ($19 for a double room). The location is terrific; it’s quiet but also very centrally located and close to great restaurants and the monasteries. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely go back!

I stayed at Gobi Attractions for 2 nights while in UB. Considering it was -20c outside the hostel couldn't have been more comfortable. It was exceptionally clean and in a great location - only 5 minutes walk to all the major shops and bars. Hogy and Lhagvaa were also incredible hosts - Hogy speaks fluent English and cooked me some excellent food while i was there. They were always friendly and available to help me whenever I needed it. I will definitely be back to Gobi Attractions on my next stay in UB!!! Thank you so much! :)
