We stayed at the Lao Orchid Hotel for three nights in January 2017. The manager, "Mr. Johnny," enjoys his work and conveys that enjoyment to hotel guests. He is one of the most gracious managers that we have met in travels to Asia. The hotel itself is kept in sparkling clean condition by the custodial staff. The location by the...

We recently stayed 2 nights at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. The room was large as was the shower although the water pressure was not very strong. The air conditioner was very effective although it blew directly on our heads. Breakfast was very good with very tasty dumplings and steam buns. The hotel location was very good as...

really enjoyed our stay here. our room was huge (i think another four king-size beds would've fit in it), with a beautiful (though slippery) hardwood floor. the reception staff was helpful (better english than many other places in laos). our one "complaint" was that there was no bellhop and we had to schlep our bags ourselves (after we found the...

We stayed here for two nights. The room we had asked for prior to arrival had been given out and the only room available was on the second floor facing the road, which is quite noisy. We ended up, after much discussion between the duty manager and the manager, who was on the phone, being given the only other room...

We spent one night at the Laos Orchard Hotel in Vientiane. The hotel is on a quiet street across from a small temple. The staff members were friendly yet professional. While not everyone spoke English, everyone did their best to assist us since we don’t speak Lao. The hotel is a great value. Also, a tasty buffet breakfast is available...

Good location, right next to night market and Mekong river (but the rooms are not river view). In walking distance to attraction spots such as Patuxai monuments, sisaket temple, and that dam. And there are many restaurant too. The breakfast is good, but there aren't many chairs. So sometimes you have to share table with other people. Staff is kind...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Room and bathroom very spacious. Air-conditioning very powerful. The room is equipped with a balcony which makes it convenient for us to do our washing and drying of our wet clothes. Free Wi-Fi available in rooms and signal was very strong. Location of the hotel is very strategic and a stone throw away from the...
