I stayed here for 2 nights during my transition back to Thailand (this is my 3 stay here at ibis VTE) the most comfortable and easy to access to the tourist spot and places to eat. The bed is so comfortable (my most favorite) the staffs is very attentive and helpful, they offered the helps to get my phone fixed I highly recommend and of course I will stay in ibis again when I go to Vientiane.
The best sister hotel in Accor group. Location is excellent. You can go shopping and spoiled yourself with great restaurant around areas. If even you feel likes to do exercises, you can run or jogging in the river side very close to hotel. I stayed 6 nights and it was the fantistic experience I ever had. Staff are very friendly and extremely polite and very professional. My check in experience is much much better than 5 stars hotel experience. The sweetest smile with beautiful lady named Noy from Front Desk make my tired goes away while check in. Thank you so much, Noy.. You deserve to be grow as a leader in this group. Your attitutes said it all. The must try dishe from hotel's restaurant is food salad and fish tom yum soup and more...
The photos on line are deceptive and we were very disappointed at the small size of the hotel room and the bad facilities. The air conditioner was old and badly in need of repair. The bed was also very uncomfortable. When we first arrived, the hotel is across the street from a huge outdoor market in Vientiane and there was no parking available. I had to go around the block and through heavy traffic just to park briefly on the busy street while my wife ran into the hotel lobby and told them we needed a place to park.
I've stayed here many times but not for the past couple of years. The building and facilities are the same of course and although some of the faces change, they are still full of smiles and beaming with willingness to help when needed. At breakfast Ms Seepaphone was always attentive, helpful and cheerful. The reception staff are charming, helpful and efficient. The only real drawback isn't their fault in that COVID has reduced occupancy, as with all hotels, and the breakfast was more basic than in the past. If you need a good comfortable bed (Accor style) and cheerful helpful staff this is a good choice
Ibis has a terrific location, with downtown and a number of great cafes/restaurants just a short walk away. The rooms are good. Clean, well designed, great for a person or couple on a short stay. I thought the cafe downstairs was nice. The service is quite warm, very professional. However, the WiFi was a disappointment. Not poor but very poor speeds. For a business hotel, I would expect better speeds and reliability. Also be aware there is ongoing construction of a big hotel next door. Fortunately Ibis was smart enough to put us and other guests on the opposite side of the building, so we didn't get too much noise. But the construction next door looks very preliminary, as they've only begun to put the foundation in. It looks like construction will be going on for a while.
