This place is spectacular, the rooms are pristine the pool sparkles, and the staff are so warm and welcoming. So many jungle activities are designed, made and maintained to the highest international standard.
The price of the food and the rooms is incredible value, similar jungle resorts in other parts of South East Asia are at least double the price.
I am thinking of staying for a week in the wet season with my family as there is so much for kids to do they will never be bored.

I was recommended by Namkat Yolapa GM to visit Nampien Yolapa, honestly I wasn’t convinced at first due to my skepticism of the highly exploited Phoukhaokhouay National Park. I gave it a try this weekend and everything exceeded my expectations.
We took the national road 13 south from Vientiane Capital, through Nabong and Nam Ngeum. It took less than 3 hours for us to arrive. The view along the road already soothed our souls. My husband and I were so thrilled all along, and we kept saying “how come we never decided to come!” 🚙
I booked directly with Nampien, three Deluxe rooms 10-11-12, the furthest from the pool/restaurant area to seek tranquility. Together there were five adults and 7 kids so we ordered an extra bed for each room which made us super comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and came with all amenities. The large glass walls allowed us to immerse into the forest and the stream🌳 as if there were no wall between us and nature. We were all jumping and screaming with excitement.
At 4pm we hit the pool, which was a bit crowded with both guests and visitors. Our kids enjoyed running up the water slide 🛝 while I enjoyed refreshing Belgian beer at the very well designed bar surrounded by trees and nature sound 🌳
The restaurant offers a good variety of food and drinks, service staff were super friendly and smiley. We had big dinner and sent the kids to bed. I continued drinking at the bar until late night, chatting with other customers and friends, pretending to be a bartender 😂
The sound of nature put me into a good deep sleep that I couldn’t even hear thunderstorms ⛈️ Breakfast was great. Just sad that we couldn’t try any adventurous activities due to the rain. My kids didn’t wanna go home 😭 so I promised to bring them back real soon!
On the way out, we dropped by the coffee shop by the lake. The ambiance was fantastic! I lingered and didn’t quite want to leave. We will come back again soon!

My husband and I spent one night here and not 30 minutes after walking into our room we wanted to extend our stay. Mr. Xay and Mr. Chansamone were so helpful; they answered all of our questions and gave us wonderful tips on what to do. The grounds are well-maintained, and the room was beautifully decorated and well maintained. We loved having a cocktail on the rocks by the river. Dinner and breakfast were good. The next day, we had a tour at LCTW (Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife), and since the two properties are connected, it was an easy 5-minute drive from one parking lot to the other.

This hotel is deep in the northern Laos countryside, giving access to some exceptional scenery and culture. The large, well designed rooms are spread along a small river, each with private views to the greenery beyond. Our one gripe was the food. There is a suspiciously large menu of Laos and western dishes (not convinced there was much cooking from scratch going on!) We asked for house wine by the glass; the first came from the tail end of a wine box,the second was clearly off. The restaurant felt like a works cafeteria, especially at breakfast time. Yes, it's a remote location, but for us, the place didn't live up to its 'luxury', 'boutique' billing

Nap poem Yorla Pa is a wonderful way to experience Laos’ natural beauty. Yorlapa offers numerous activities for all ages. We did the suspension walk and biodiversity museum which is amazing. We left the go carts and ATV riding to the younger gen. Cabins set out in the woods are clean and spacious with streams running past your window. At checkin Mr Xay was extremely helpful explaining the area and the many activities available. Mr Chansamone was also very helpful at checkout and ensuring we made our way to the nearby wildlife conservation park. We had both dinner and breakfast at the resort and both were great. The restaurant staff were polite and helpful in making our food and beverage choices. Great getaway. Strongly

We parked our car and immediately a shuttle arrived to take us up to the hotel. I loved that the hotel is free from cars. It really feels like a magical world up in the hills. The check in was very quick, and my kids immediately got into the pool, which is in a beautiful setting with large trees and a river running by. We found the architecture and design of the hotel to be beautiful and in harmony with the surroundings. We enjoyed exploring the bridges and walkways that weave throughout the hotel grounds. We did ziplining, which was truly spectacular. The food and service in the restaurant was very good, and we were waited on by staff who spoke English. A guy by the name of Bounthone was particularly helpful during our stay.
Overall I found this hotel to be wonderful because of the beautiful setting, the warm staff, and the facilities. It is in a tropical rainforest, so the rooms can smell a bit musty, although they were very clean and seemed new. It is just a damp setting, and we visited at the end of the rainy season. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Laos, and I plan to return.

This is a wonderful concept for a peaceful retreat set on the edge of the national park The resort has a wonderful long term support relationship with the Lao Conservation Trust for Wildlife, a wildlife rescue centre at the entrance to the resort which you can visit. The rooms are tucked away amongst the foliage and canopy and are perfectly comfortable and private. The resort has a great pool, zipplines and a lugged course as well as beautiful nature walks. The resort is clean and tidy and the staff helpful and friendly. The meals need to be a higher standard to meet the expectations the resort creates. They we're fine but there's an opportunity to be more creative. Breakfast was a highlight. If you're in Laos around Vientiane you shouldn't miss making this a couple of nights on your itinerary. It's great value.

This is probably the best place I've ever stayed! The setting is amazing (sights and sounds of nature all around you), the accommodations are unreal (each room tucked in the forest with the sound of the water rushing by, and the best shower ever), the food they have available was all so delicious, the canopy walk was breathtaking, and even just wandering around was an incredible experience. Most of all, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Everyone we interacted with was so kind and made us feel really welcome there and we'll taken care of. Thank you so much to everyone at Nam Pien Yorla Pa!!! We had the best time and hope to return someday.

The resort as a whole reflects a clever design designed to take advantage of the elements of the natural environment. The rooms , not overlooked, with their views of the forest and the river cause a total immersion effect. Pool, restaurant: everything is perfect. The staff is very kind. Must visit; the museum of biodiversity with in particular a magnificent collection of butterflies of which you can observe many specimens while walking.
