This hotel was a pleasant surprise for us. We have been traveling long-term on a budget so it was a bit pricier than we are used to but the clean rooms and PERFECT WIFI made up for the extra cost. I repeat, the wifi works here! Huzzah! Our room didn't have windows but wasn't musty at all and was kept... More

Agree with others that the staff here don't go out of their way to make you feel welcome, however the hotel itself was pleasant and well located. Room was large with a fridge and a decent shower. From the hotel we walked to sisaket/victory monument and also the night market and along the water front without trouble so location was... More

The guys at the front desk weren't exactly unfriendly; just more clueless and uninterested in our arrival. They tossed us the key and let us figure out the padlock system securing our room door, along with everything else. There was also pounding construction also rocked our room during the daylight hours, and the bathroom floor flooded with every shower. Still,... More

We stayed here for three nights in June 2014. Yes it was cheap. However... The first room we were put in the aircon didn't work, so they moved us to another room. Both rooms smelled really damp and musty and had no natural light. Staff at reception were not very friendly. It was useful to have fresh water to fill... More

Wasn't that impressed with this guesthouse. When we checked in, if you can call it that, the lady on reception just passed us the key without saying anything as they were too busy having a conversation with a member of staff. The hotel is currently a building site and was very dusty as a result of this. Room was OK... More

Musty smelling room with staff that were less than helpful. Ok for a night but wouldn't want to stay any longer! The only saving grace is the location but, to be honest, there is that little to do in Vientiane that pretty much everything is going to be a good location.

The Be Na Cam is probably 1 star guest house. But there were 3 of us and our room, though no windows was great. It was big, clean and comfortable . 2 king size single beds and a queen on the floor. Clean linen.Tea and coffee, fridge, LCD Tv with cable. US$25 Only weakness was JUST warm water for shower. The... More

Really good size room, walking distant to bars , restaurant and the market. Comfy bed hot shower coffee and tea making facilities in the room. Lots of stairs to climb with heavy backpacks. Very reasonable price and let us store luggage all day after check out. Would recommend.

I booked on trip advisor, and was given a small room on the 3rd floor. The room itself was fine, but the bathroom was really gross-with black mold covering the about 1/3 of the wall. They had tried to cover it, but whatever they had used was peeling back. When I tried to sleep that night, the walls were paper... More

Benacam is undoubtedly a decent budget guesthouse and my girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable (despite the springs groaning oddly) and the shower was the best I took in Laos. Negatives include our room not having a window, which wasn't that bad, but a bit odd to wake up to, and truly abysmal wi fi... More
