The place is nice and room clean but the wc in the room was not working at all, but they did not change us the room. We asked for a cheaper room without AC (it was cold in that period) but they sayed they did not have, they only have the most expensive... but they have more that 50 rooms... More

we took a tuktuk from the train station to the river front where the guesthouse is located for 12,000kip.after a hard bargain. the rooms are dull and simple but clean and functional with good toilet and air conditioning. it is near to all amenities like food , shops , money changer and the Mekong river and the night market .... An overpriced place which smells musty. Wi-fi very weak. There was a nice english speaking lady on reception when we arrived who we never saw again, just lots of unhelpful guys who didn't seem to care to understand us. Surprised this place is recommended in the LP as I'm sure there are better spots around. Unfortunately we arrived at night... More

We arrived at Vientiane from Hanói (sleeping bus) at 9:00pm and we haven't booked any room. From the guidebook we have, this was a budget hostel, which is perfect for us. Good location, no breakfast and good price (15usd). Don't be expecting for a very nice budget hostel but like the term says, it's on the budget...

Good location, poor rooms, very expensive, toilet blocked, room was dusty, wifi poor, go around the corner & get cheaper nice accomadation! Very disapointing, stanards have slipped in this guesthouse, only thing going for it is the location& there are better cheaper options nearby.

Dear guests, We are very disappointed to have read some recent negative reviews about our guest house. Having been recommended in the Lonely Planet guidebook, we have endeavoured to maintain our good reputation. We would therefore like to address some of the issues brought to our attention; Our research shows that bed bugs often enter premesis in rucksacks and luggage... More

Dirty, smelly and filthy. Hundred of mosquitoes were around me all the night. The only positive thing was the location. Worst place I was around Laos. In Vientiane, you could choose a very good hotel with great quality-price average.

Well, the situation I would say is really good cause it's right in front of the riverside but unfortunately the price included a lot of mosquitoes which is not really comfortable when you try to avoid malaria and other diseases... The bathroom was not really nice and the sheets were dirty (or just not white)

Stayed in room 204. At first glance everything seemed clean enough except for a musty smell. I figured its a cheap guesthouse, I can deal with it. After a few days, I started getting these itchy rashes all over. I looked up bed bite pictures on the internet and it was exactly what I had. I lifted the covers and... More

Me and my friends stayed in a triple room during our visit to Vientiane. As walk-in customers we were promised free wifi in the room, a hot shower and aircon upon check-in. Altough the price seemed high, we were exhausted from looking around guesthouses and hostels for about an hour and simply gave in and took the room (190.000 KIP... More

It would be ok for $7-$11 / night. Not for the $ 24 I paid. Worst value for the money I have experienced in Laos. Try to avoid but if not, look at the room. Some might be better than others? Even the location isn't great - the street is very noisy. Again, all this would be fine if the... More
