It‘s a quiet place in the middle of the city, very close to the night market and temples. The hotel itself is very nice, the regular rooms are fine - but not really extraordinary (what you should expect for the quite high price). If you are looking for something special pay

Dear Dirk, Thank you for reviewing your stay with us and for recommending us to other travelers. We are indeed just a short stroll away (2 minutes walk!) from the legendary Mekong River and the night market... I'm sure you'd agree that even with the proximity to all the "action", it is still very tranquil and serene once you step into the hotel. Hope to welcome you once again when you are next in town! Kind regards, Carmen

We stayed two nights at the Ansara, and were very happy with it. The room is comfortable, attractive, the breakfast was good, and it was great to have a pool to come lounge by the heat of the afternoon after tromping around in the morning. It’s very well located, about a block

We had a 1st floor room and it required walking up the stairs to reach our room but there were definitely rooms for occupancy on the ground floor. Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Regards Reg

no conference room as such when I was there last year, but there was an extension to the hotel being prepared, so it's possible they have the capacity now that you're seeking. as suggested above, contact the Operations Manager.

Savvy room in the Ansara hotel Vientiane is the first (like in starts of...) standard of rooms available. Savvy is pigeon English for "grasp" or "intellect", just read as in a travel brochure "smart appointed room type" Lanna ??? Kind find Lanna rooms in this hotels...in other hotels it's described as "Northern-Thailand stylish room", an acceptable thought, no?
