The hotel is located in a quiet area about a 10-15min walk to the river front where most of the restaurants and bars and night market are located. As the hotel was not busy, I requested the manager for an upgrade from the double deluxe room and he was very kind to oblige and we got the so called junior suite. This room is a large L shaped room with a King size bed and comfy mattress. It came with two sofas and a table. It also came with a kettle, safe, bath robes, slippers, mini fridge and 2 complementary bottles of water. The bathroom was clean, large with a rain head shower and good water pressure. What was lacking was a good body soap/ wash. Wifi was patchy in the room but good in other areas of the hotel. Breakfast was very good with Western and Asian dishes and excellent cappuccino. The annoying thing was the lighting in the room. One switch controls all the lights and no bed side lamps. Other guests have complained about this too. However, the Manager did not seem to understand the difference between a table study lamp and a bedside lamp! I hope they will work on this. The AC cooled well but was very noisy. Overall, an excellent stay, friendly and helpful staff. Strongly recommend the junior suite for added comfort. …
The hotel is located in the centre of capital so it's very comfortable and walking distance to most of the places ie: night markets, monuments, That Luang and Vientiane Centre. Our room was spacious, clean, comfy beds and fabulous breakfast. On the other hand there were too many mosquitoes in our rooms so we almost unable to sleep on our 1st night. They only prepare 2 bottles of water in the room and once we ask for more was informed that they can only give 2 bottles per day. However, overall it was a wonderful stay and will be back again. Thank you
This is a nice hotel and value for money and a max of 10 minutes walk from all the sights and shops in Vientiane. My room was at the back and quiet. Friendly, helpful staff who all have a godo level of English. Extensive breakfast buffet including noodles and cooking fresh eggs and omlettes. They can provide a shuttle bus back to the airport.
Large rooms with great hot water and showers. Very good buffet breakfast included. Only down side was the amount of mosquitoes and there seemed to be No noise insulation so could hear others in rooms and at reception.
Great location within easy walking distance to most of the things you will want to see. Despite the odd name, the rooms are clean, well-appointed, comfy and quiet. Also, breakfast is quite good buffet style with made to order eggs. Staff was friendly and spoke English. Excellent all around stay and it exceeded my expectations. Will stay here again.
The room was clean, the water hot and the breakfast was ok, but our room (at the back of the hotel) had lots of mosquitoes, and in South East Asia this is not a great way to go. We had to spray the room a number of times and even then there were still mosquitoes. Would take some convincing before I would stay here again or recommend this hotel to others.
We were here for a short visit at the end of an intrepid tour. Our room was at the back of the hotel with very noisy building going on behind. The room was adequate but the toilet was too close to the bed even with the sliding door in between it was a bit awkward. The shower did not work properly with no hot water and there were no hand towels. The bed was quite comfortable and the hotel is in a central part of town. Breakfast was ok but not great. Overall I think there are probably lots of better options for a similar price.
Located in downtown within easy walk to many of sights. Friendly and charming welcome and reception team. Super double was spacious, comfortable clean room although a little bland. Spotless clean tiled bathroom. Breakfast buffet was average. Prepaid airport taxi K60,000 and we took the bus back K15,000 as stop was directly outside the front. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.
Yes, it’s in a good position. Yes, it has a good buffet breakfast. But we had the basic room, small, no hotel phone, no pool, no shower screen. Every time I would have a shower the water would go everywhere. Pay extra for a better room and I am sure it will be more pleasurable. Ohh watch out for mosquitoes.
We selected the hotel for it's location and we were not disappointed. The balcony room was a real plus with a view of the surrounding area. The hotel is just a short walk from a few main restaurant areas and even within walking distance too the Night Market. The breakfast buffets were very nice.
