We did not stay at the hotel, but we visited the restaurant attached downstairs. We very much liked the ambience with all of the Laos style decoration and big wooden tables. That is what made us go into this place to eat. The food was very good and decent priced. Good fruit shakes also. Free wifi in the restaurant.

We stayed for 2 nights in a room overlooking the night market & the river. The location is great for exploring the local restaurants and night market. The hotel has an old world charm to it and the rooms were nicely appointed with everything we needed, the bathroom could do with updating & whilst the shower was hot the water...

Was a vintage property, built old style with ceiling fans and high ceiling. Missed a swimming pool. As I would get a pool for the price we paid. On the river front. Happening night market right opposite to the hotel. Location was v good. Good night life nearby. Average stay. Would book a newer property next time . more chic....

Our fourth floor room was spacious and clean, with a small balcony giving great views of sunsets over the Mekong River. The traditional decor in the room and in the lobby was interesting and unique. Breakfast the first day was cold and uninviting but improved the second day when the food was cooked freshly to order. Good central location with...

The room I originally booked looked a bit dull and dismal with a view from the 4th floor of corrugated tin roofs. The helpful receptionist offered me an upgrade for an additional $10/night on the first floor. I was happy to take it as: a) the lift was broken b) it had a river view c) it had lots of...

GROSS GROSS GROSS GROSS GROSS! My husband and I have stayed in a lot of budget hotels, and understand that you sometimes have to accept some compromises, but this place is too much. We stayed one night at this awful hotel and couldn't get out fast enough, the smell of our room made it difficult to sleep as I felt...

Really beautiful hotel! Decorated with a ton of cool stuffs, love it. They also have restaurant next to the hotel and you must try foods there. Staffs are so friendly, comfortable bed. I would recommend to stay here, it worth your money.

This one was good value for money. Great location downtown in an interesting area. Staff didn't speak much English but were helpful and friendly. Ask for a riverside room on the 4th or 5th floor for nicest view and quietest rooms. Night market is busy until about 11pm then it's quite quiet. Decor is entertainingly eclectic and was worth a...

I was in a bind when I arrived in Vientiane on a Thailand visa run - the hotel I booked turned out to be 3 1/2 hours away and not in Vientiane as indicated on its website. It was after 9pm and it had been a long day of travel pretty much without a meal all day. Fortunately, my taxi...
