If you’re searching for a place where to relax in the capital this hotel is absolutely perfect. It’s right in the city center and close to all the main the touristic attractions. The rooms are super elegant and well designed, the lobby where you take breakfast is also made by an absolutely nice style. The best part of all it’s definitely the infinity pool on the roof top where you can enjoy cocktails and have sauna as well and tan on the sun beds and relax. The staff is very nice and helpful and the food is just amazing. I really enjoyed the breakfast because it was either westerner either Asian. You can have fresh homemade baguettes, croissants and pains au chocolate. It was delicious!! I highly recommend. I will definitely come back again. Thanks for the awesome time!
Love it. Stayed two times in rooms 401 and 412. 401 is clearly better but i would say that all rooms are nice. Located in city center. Great breakfast. Manager Franck is very helping. Not to be forgotten, had a great massage. Spa is great.
As soon as I walked into the hotel lobby I knew I was throughly going to enjoy my stay at Lao Poet Hotel. The design of this hotel is gorgeous and the staff are so lovely. My favourite was the rooftop pool and bar, amazing for the sunset!! Could lie up here all day with the comfy loungers and pillows. It's shaded in the afternoon which is nice when you need a break from the sun but you still get the sun on the pool. The food was amazing, loved the healthy option of muesli, fruit and yoghurt that was available for breakfast along with other more naughty options for those that want to indulge. The room was lovely, couldn't fault it and the bed was sooo comfy, I had the deepest sleep I'd had in awhile! Overall, an awesome hotel and I would highly recommend staying here.
Everything about my stay at the Lao Poet was great. Franck the general manager was quick to respond with any questions I had. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I especially enjoyed the staff during breakfast. They had memorized who was part of our group and if one person was missing from breakfast they would ask if that person was coming down for breakfast. And if we needed another chair for them. Breakfast was excellent a large menu of different items. The ka piek kao was my favorite. The rooftop pool was really nice, with a beautiful view of Vientiane. Next time I’m in Laos I will definitely be staying at the Lao Poet again.
