The room was dorm but there was no problem whatsoever. The showers and bedrooms were tidy and clean. Pool and relaxation area were just a plus. Is very good if you want to look and look around

We booked online at 18 dollars a night for two nights only when we arrived they said that was just the deposit and the room was actually 40 dollars a night!! Eye wateringly expensive for backpackers. We now have to cancel other plans due to the high price of this place. Unable to cancel due to stupid cancellation policies.  If the room was nice I think we could have stomached it better. BUT the room had a horrible smell of cheesy feet and damp from the moment we entered the room. The room was minuscule with no room to have bags on the floor or anything. The water stopped working on our last day which meant we couldnt shower and had to use our bottled water to brush teeth and wash face. The air con barely worked and was very noisy so we had to have the fan on too which just pushed warm air around the room. The window was tiny and didnt close properly, just was sellotaped to prevent bugs getting in. The safe in the room had no instructions and therefore rendered it useless.  We used the pool once and it was ok but littered with debris on the bottom, like leaves and twigs. Didnt eat here as it was pricey, but tip for you travellers: theres a convenience store on the corner as you go out of the hotel, turn right. Here they do croissants and danishes and tubbed up rice dishes for super cheap, they heat it up for you and you get 50% off a coffee when you get one. Bargain.  Also not especially close to anything. It was half hour journeys to everything which just meant we had to spend more on tuktuks. Thank god for the grab app!  Overall far too pricey and not worth the money.

I really can't find anything to criticise about this place.. It was perfect and cheap Alongside Lub D in Siem Reap and faraway suites in Vang Vieng, this was among the best hostels I've ever been to and I'll be back

I can’t even begin to stress how much this place pissed me off. We had stayed here one night while passing through Phnom Phen to get to kampot and it was alright. The bathroom was dirty and smelled bad and the shower was sub par. Not to mention being woken up by someone else in their bunk at 5am on the phone. When coming back to phnom phen we figured whatever we book a bigger room to avoid the dorm from before and suck it up because how much worse could it get. And it went horrible down hill from there. We arrived at 4:30pm to be told we couldn’t check in yet because there were no bed sheets. That was just a lie. Instead of checking in they said we could store or bags and go do something else. I had been sick and not in the mood for that. When I asked if we could move our stuff into the room and the lockers there we were told no. It didn’t make sense. After me clearly frustrated all of a sudden the guy runs up the stairs without saying a word and comes back down with sheets for the bed saying “he found some”. Excuse me but the reason why we couldn’t check in was...? After this. We went to the front desk to ask them about busses to Vietnam. They responded with “we don’t book any try online” what kind of hostel can’t help you book anything. We also asked where to eat and they said “we have great food here” and walked away. Normally when people ask for suggestions try giving one. Honestly the most useless staff I have experienced. The only thing they did help us with was booking the s21 and killing fields as they use their Tuk Tuk drivers from outside. Also we booked a bigger room to avoid the same dorm from last time and still somehow ended up in that dorm. Also to be woken up in the middle of the night by a new guy on the phone at 3am. This hostel clearly seems to attract a certain ignorant backpacker. That first night we asked to extend. They said yes but would have to move us rooms. Into the 10 bed dorm we had originally booked which meant checking out and rechecking in. Once again. How frustrating. This wasn’t the end of the world because we were doing the s21 tour so would be out all day. At returning at around 3:30 we wanted to shower etc. Yet again we weren’t allowed to check in because they didn’t have sheets. Honestly what is wrong with this place. Our final morning (thank god) we had to get up early to catch our bus. So we gave ourselves plenty of time. Packed up and went down for breakfast and ordered our scrambled eggs with toast. After sitting there for about 15 minutes. The guy comes over saying they don’t have any toast (sounds like the bed sheets) and that we needed to wait 1-5 minutes for the bread to be delivered. Random. But then we waited another 10 minutes because the guy comes over again saying we needed to pick something else off the menu to order. More than half their breakfast items have toast so we were like what do you expect us to do. And mind you all those prices were 3x what we wanted to order. At this point it was quarter to 8 and our bus came at 8 and there was no time to go elsewhere. After arguing a little bit they agreed to give us a croissant instead of toast. I don’t know why this process was so painful but it was. Just really ended this dreadful stay on an even worse note. We gave the place a second chance and never again. Don’t waste your time or money here. The staff is useless and full of complaints. You can find a way better place to stay in Phnom Phen

An otherwise nice stay was dashed by my phone charger and adapter being taken from my room while getting cleaned. We were made to move room when booking an extra night and upon returning to the room to move my bags I found a stripped bed and the phone charger I left plugged in was missing. The staff were useless in helping me find it despite them being the only people to have been in the room as it was a room shared between me and my friends.
