The apartments are very well appointed and modern and the staff were all friendly here. We had late arrival and early departure by train so the location of the apartments was perfect for us. It's also close to Raffles for a happy hour drink between 4-9pm. We had a two bedroom apartment that had ensuite bathrooms off each room and a central living area with couch, kitchen and breakfast bar style dining. It was nice to grab some breakfast supplies at the local minimart and have a leisurely breakfast on the couch after so many buffets during our travels. Everything was very clean and the housekeeping replaced water, coffee and intermittently towels each day. There are two sizeable pools and although overlooked there was never anyone around so they were very nice for an afternoon relax out of the heat. We also ate at The Shop which was a bit pricey but I enjoyed my quiche for a light lunch. Besides expensive nearby hotels or market square there aren't any local restaurants etc in close proximity, although if you walk via Wat Phnom to the riverfront I recommend Hummus house. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if arriving or departing by train

Stay was ok. There is a school to one side which is very noisy and a University behind which equally can be noisy. The Shop Cafe has the same menu and never changes. The pools are a bit of a public display in that peoples rooms overlook them, so its isnt as private. Construction was haopening for s good two months. Location is ok, but if you want to be amongst the hustle and bustle suggest living BKK1 area. Otherwise you have to catch a tuktuk everywhere. Nice and close to exchange square and a supermarket. The fire alarms were going off at leaat once a week...and usually between the hours of midnight and 6am!!!

Friendly, clean , perfect location. Good cost ratio for this nice capital of Cambodia. The little in-house bistro is a meeting point for expats and locals and a nice place to chat and work during breakfast , lunch or dinner. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Just had a short stay at this lovely service apartment, everything went so well, no complain at all. I would like to specifically mention Bunly who took care of us so well. We will definitely come back to this place next time when traveling to Phnom Penh. Read m

CM is in a good central Location, rooms are spacious but in need of some TLC. The staff are good and it’s a clean environment to stay… Security is also good but need to understand how to be polite while remaining assertive. Some of the renovation works are poorly executed in the part of CM where we were staying with exposed electric wires being dropped into the new cooking hobs. I would of given a 5 but the accounting staff failed to reimburse our deposit and seem to have extremely poor communication with each other and afraid to make decisions. For this reason alone I dropped a point from a 5 to a 4. Customer service is not just the front desk.

I've stayed at a number of hotels in Cambodia, and this was the least impressive experience. The rooms were nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff, however, were extremely unhelpful, and at times, downright rude. Nothing like I have ever experienced anywhere in Cambodia. The pools are not as nice as at other locations...no greenery, no service from the bar. Also, its just over-priced because its close to the U.S. embassy and the fancy part of town. You should consider staying elsewhere.

Excellent apart-hotel. Spacious units, clean, modern. Just across the street from a nice mall. Front desk - wonderful girl - with smile and very helpful. I have no complaints about this place except only there are no "do not disturb" door handle signs ie. room cleaners will come in the morning no matter what. Also would be nice to have a telephone in every bedroom, microwave/oven in kitchen. Definitely would stay here again - perhaps they should consider opening a members program for the hotel?

We're a family of 5 so it's hard to find a place we can all stay together. As a serviced apartment, we were able to get a 3 bedroom accommodation that was perfectly suited to our needs. The location is quiet, the hotel is nice enough, the staff is friendly and helpful. it has a kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, microwave, and a 5 gallon water dispenser which was great. The living room furniture seemed a bit old and worn (some stains/wear and tear), the master bedroom was a good size with plenty of closet space and a decent bathroom. There are two bedrooms on the other end of the apartment: a twin and a double which share a large bathroom. The bathrooms seem to have been recently redone and were very nice. There is a nice restaurant/coffee shop downstairs that serves very good food but does not do room service. Overall, it was clean, well managed and we would happily stay there again.

Have stayed at this hotel for many years. It's been kept up well, but still somehow seems faded. I suppose it's primarily the staff. There's one male front desk guy that has been reliably excellent, and also one guy in the cafe - the rest are pretty sour faced. This sort of spoils the ambience. I would often come in and say 'hello' or smile at the front desk girls and get no response at all. Or they just look away and pretend not to see me. The cafe is still good, but I swear they never change their menu. The food seems only lackluster. Easier to go to Oskars or someplace if you want decent food (for the price they charge). CM isn't cheap - an omelette with cheese, bacon, and tomato is nearly $8. Rooms are still nice, wifi strong and bathtubs still tiny. I typically spend a month a year (or every year) at Central Mansion - but I think this will be my last trip. Phnom Penh is changing so much - theft and young thug-boys cruising the streets, malls and brands, it's lost that friendly vibe it managed to keep for many years. The tuk-tuk drivers that hang outside of the hotel are pretty merciless. Doesn't matter if you've ridden with them for 3 weeks they will still try to rip you off each and every time. Central Mansion is still a great choice - but it's also just sort of indicative of the direction Phnom Penh is headed. Sort of sad to stay here. I paid for a month and we ended up just leaving after 2 weeks.
