I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The last time will literally be the last time. I found this an easy to stay in hotel. Great desk staff and lovely service staff who tried to please with my limited Khmer and their limited English. The room was comfortable and the included breakfast suited me fine. I liked the location which was near Tuol Tum Poung. The New Midtown was my home for three weeks. I always went back there as I knew I would be happy there. But, it is no longer to be. A week before I was due to go home the desk staff informed me that the hotel had been sold. Actually, I believe it has been leased. I would only have a few days left there. I felt so sad for the staff and of course for myself. The staff were to be without work for two months. I don't really think they know their future. I asked about another hotel quite close to this one to be told it had been closed as well and leased. What about the apartment building just down that side street, I asked. Oh the residents had to leave as it has been leased too. It seems citizens from another Asian country are leasing these buildings to house their own people. Looking around I found very few places to stay short term in TTP. And it appears long term accommodation is becoming hard to find as the blocks have been leased. I was very sad to see this happen. My lovely hotel that was reasonably priced has gone.

I asked for a deal by mail, but the price on Booking.com was cheaper than what they gave me by email. A quick responds when it came to making a reservation, but I've sent 4 mails to ask how to get there and no responds at all Very old and VERY dirty room. Even after cleaning (again) on my request it was still dirty. Really all over: hairs floor and bed, leaking fridge, shower drain, crooked toilet and hairs, dubious stains at the door and on the tiles. Disgusting. (See the pictures). I left the place after 1 night (checked into a hostel and was much cleaner) Breakfast was okay. Plunge pool on the roof is refreshing. The location is far from the city centre.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the past few years and each time it has been great. Spotless rooms with comfy beds and clean bathrooms with a decent shower. There is a rooftop area with a little pool whilst not the best for swimming in it’s nice to cool off in. Staff are always friendly and helpful. There is an electronic safe in the room as well as a TV, kettle, mini fridge. There are great views from the rooms on higher floors. It is in a good location on Street 155. A 5/10 minute walk up to Russian market. I will continue to stay here in the future

This hotel has spacious family rooms and a decent breakfast. We stayed there for 4 nights & had a splendid time. Pool was small but ok. Rooms were big & staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great as Russian Market is within walking distance. Further more there are many shops around the area.

Location is abit out of the town. Russian market nothing much. Housekeeping service was good and room was clean. Breakfast limited choice. Stay for 4 days breakfast menu same. Would recommend to use grab tuk tuk services as it can save and tuk tuk driver just follow gps. Grab car charge us8 to airport but upon arrival paid us 15 frm airport tour desk.

My families and I booked about 3 rooms. Did this through TripAdvisor. First impression of the hotel was that it was tall and seems modernized. Walking in, the lobby was deserted and a bit hot and humid. They had fans but they weren't on. Felt a bit bad for the workers there. We had no problem checking in. We did, however, had several luggage and found it odd that there were no bellboy to help us. Plus, their elevator is super slow and takes forever to reach the ground floor. Throughout our whole stay, I believe the hotel does not have many workers. Maybe about 5 people and they all tend to everything the hotel and its guests' needs. Our rooms were average. Paint, linen and furniture appeared to be old and worn but everything was clean. Restroom was clean. The toilet works and there was hot water. The plumbing was noisy at times but only when it's draining. Our stay was pleasant. The only noise that were noticeable were the children playing outside next door. Housekeeping was awesome. They were very hardworking and came once during our stay...only because we told them we didn't need our rooms cleaned. The hotel has a very small pool on the 10th floor. Contrary to the photo, the pool area might need some remodeling and love. The hotel did offer free breakfast. It was okay. Limited choices to order. The hotel is in walking distance of a Starbucks, which is a plus. Also about 15-20 mins tuktuk ride to Aeon Mall. And another weird thing is their information binder offers amenities but when asked about them, we were referred to different local business that were equipped to help us. Left me confused. Oh yeah, wifi was free and it works.

Enjoyed our 4-night stay here. Very clean room and friendly staff. Our bathroom had a bit of a smell to it (was ok), but overall had a great experience. Wifi works well, location is in a safe and relatively quiet area...can easily walk to the Russian market (maybe like 15min max) as well as a bunch of the restaurants that you see listed on Tripadvisor. Tuktuk from this hotel to the airport cost us $10 USD. Breakfast was included during our stay...but the food is just ok. One of the sugar jars had ants crawling all over the inside, so I'd watch out for stray bugs here and there... We'd gotten a great deal ($20/night) online, so value for money was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful hotel. My husband and I live in the Provinces of Cambodia and travel to Phnom Penh weekly. This is our "go to hotel". It is in a very convenient location, the staff is AMAZING and absolutely lovely, the rooms are functional and clean. If you have ever spent anytime in Asia/Cambodia, this is a typical, yet wonderful hotel. Enjoy the daytime experiences of the nearby Russian Market area, the Museums and the beautiful culture/people. Rest well at night and don't forget to cool of at the rooftop pool, you will be happy you did.

Was first met by a very helpful and kind young lady, who was polite and kind. Didn't pay a lot, quite hotel, nice rooms and quite sorroundings. Read something about a nightclub keeping all the guests awake at night? I didn't see or hear anything (probably of season?) Thank you for letting me stay here.
