Stay: 2-6 March 2020. Room: Deluxe Double Room, Balcony, 2nd floor facing the street. The lobby was nice and cozy, a great place to chill. There is no elevator in this hotel. The room was spacious even excluding the balcony. The balcony view is facing a secondary school. Not much noise pollution compared to the entertainment area. Toilet had screen facing the room, slightly see-thru with lightings. Toilet has no door, only curtains covering the entrance. Towels, bedsheets, face towels, pillowcase everything was clean thru out my stay. Walking distance to the bars at st 136. The location is spot on for this price. Comfortable stay overall.

The location is really top notch, in close proximity to Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace, Riverside, and loads of restaurants and bars. The staff were friendly and offered a welcome drink when we arrived. We used a tuk tuk driver outside the hotel, Mr Leang, who was a highlight of our trip, very friendly and cheerful, spoke great English, recommended places for us to visit, and was very fair with his prices. The room was clean and very modern, though we did notice the air conditioner was dripping condensation / leaking on our last night. There is also no elevator, only stairs, which wasn't a problem for us as we didn't have much luggage.

Stayed 2 weeks there for the only reason that I couldn’t cancel booking. Pros: good location, can walk to pretty much anywhere in town. Cons: a/c leaking a lot in room. Apparently fixed 2 days later but was just as bad as before. Was suggested to put towels on floor to ease the noise! That a/c was obviously leaking since ages looking at the wall condition and reparation done. Many lights don’t work, bathroom fan dead. Unfriendly and useless staff , specially on nights. One hotel staff friend decided to borrow one of our motorcycle helmet. Was returned more than 24hr later after asking several hotel staff. When asked if we could see the footage from security cameras we were told that it was useless as cops wouldn’t do anything anyways. Place could be ok for a night or two but i wouldn’t bother. Lot’s of better places in town.

I booked for 2 nights through Hostelworld and extended for one more night, which was no problem. The hostel, the rooms, pool and roof top bar are clean and nice. The reception gave me tips for my further travel and also booked it directly for me. Special thanks to Rachel and Lily and the whole team.
