We were only here one night but enjoyed a dip in the pool and some games in the bar in the evening. The place is beautiful, lit up by fairy lights and lanterns at night. The rooms were clean and and comfortable. The pool and deck chairs are well shaded from the sun and there is a smaller, shallow pool... More

The trip from the airport to the hotel was fascinating- scooters, tuk tuks, cars going in all directions. Brand new glass covered buildings next to wood and canvas lean-to's, tangled knots of telephone wires two feet wide. The kids were well over traveling after two flights (11 hrs and then 2 hrs) but revived after we entered the hotel property.... More

Dear Lenmurray, Thank you very much for your kind review. We are very lucky indeed to have a beautiful tropical garden with more than 500 plants ans trees that we planted ourself. The Kabiki is as you mentioned it at walking distance of the Royal Palace and river front. Cheers Estelle More

After the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh it is a delight to enter the peaceful grounds of the Kabiki. There are a couple of rough edges like the lack of water pressure in the shower or the noise of the trees scraping across the gutters but they are more than made up for by the lovely rooms, friendly staff,... We were warmly welcomed to the hotel with a refreshing drink and cold towel by very friendly staff. The room was lovely - 4 poster beds, lots of room, complimentary drinking water. The outside had an oasis feel with lots of trees and a gorgeous pool with seating/lounge area. The best thing about the hotel is that it is next... More

Nice oasis in Phnom Penh. The pool area was very nice. My room was comfortable and clean. It was too hot to take advantage of the balcony, but if you're there in more temperate weather it is a nice feature. The only thing I want the Kabiki to address is their plumbing. I reported the bathroom plumbing 3 times. The... More

We stayed at the kabiki hotel for 2 nights and used it as our base in Phnom Penh. It's in a quiet part of town which made relaxing by the pool lovely. It's also very accessible to the more lively areas. We got a tuktuk from the hotel to the killing fields and s21 which cost 20 dollars for the... More

I can't praise The Kabiki enough. Set in lush grounds, with a beautiful pool and bar area, it is a quiet oasis of calm away when you want to escape the heat and bustle of the city. Rooms are stylish and comfortable. Breakfasts are amazing. The staff are absolutely delightful. But it is the little touches that really add to... More

We have stayed here several times it is always our first choice when arriving as it is cool and peaceful with lovely spacious rooms. The main hotel building used to belong to the royal family in fact it is in a gated complex with government buildings further down the road. It is surrounded by a lovely garden and has a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
After opening our famous Pavilion boutique hotel, we realised, as people with family ourselves, that Phnom Penh needed a resort that was family orientated and child friendly. The historic colonial house we found on Oknha Peich Street with its 3500m2 of surrounding land was perfect. Caring, friendly staff, lots of nature for children to explore, the Kabiki is a place to relax, take a swim and lounge in the sun between days exploring Phnom Penh and the nearby attractions of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum and the riverside. We planted over 500 native trees, many of which we've placed name tags on so you can identify them yourselves. ... more   less
