Cons: Badly In need of a renovation. No elevator. No hotel phone in rooms. Beds are as hard as any I have slept on. Bathroom taps leaking in the shower. Pros: economy prices. Amazing cooks in the kitchen. Lovely lady on reception (Lyn) was very helpful, English was great. A very amiable young man in the bar, taking orders and serving drinks. The coldest beers in SE Asia lol. His name is Seng and he is a legend lol

Dear Mr. Bernard, Thank you for giving us time to make a review both positive and negative. We are happy that the staff gives a great job at your stay in the hotel. We surely share it with the staff especially Seng and Lyn. As for the elevator, we cannot fix this issue as we only have 2 floors not included in the lobby area. And for the phone inside the room, this issue is being handed to the top management and will soon have a good result. Once again thank you very much for staying with us and hope we can serve you more in your next visit.

I used to regularly stay in this hotel conveniently located for my work, with very nice staff, good Italian coffee and good pricing. However, despite the efforts of the main manager, several aspects are turning the hotel into a not-so-good option: - huge construction just behind the hotel (mid-2019 on), with a lot of noise, diesel fumes pollution and vibrations (some days the construction continues late at night) - messy management of overpopulated fish ponds in the restaurant area, with dead fish and bad smell on multiple occasions (dead fish smell for breakfast...) - hosting of film crews cluttering corridors and public areas and noisy shooting starting at 6am (without informing customers) - very cheap but very low quality and risky lunch options - untidy garbage area next to the hotel gate This is a pity as the staff is friendly and the place could be charming. Note also that the pool size is deceptive on web site photos: this is actually a very small pool and most other photos are digitally enhanced.

Dear Mr. Harry, Thank you so much for giving us time to make a review, both positive and negative. However, first, we cannot control the construction at the back of the hotel. As it does not belong to the hotel property and everywhere in Phnom Penh is under construction. Second, I understand and we are fixing the issue regarding the fish. Third, about the film crews unfortunately that we are not aware that they will start very early. We apologize for the miscommunication. Fourth, We cannot consider our food risky because mostly more people are looking for this kind of food. And there are other foods you can order. Fifth, regarding the garbage next to the hotel gate. It is out of our control because that belongs to other property, but we call their attention regarding this matter. Once again thank you so much for informing us about the issue. Warm Regards, Manager
