The room was clean on arrival, however it became obvious there was rats in the ceiling running around all the time the room quickly smelled like rat piss. The hotel is run down and mismanaged judging by all the clutter around the reception and hallways. I would avoid even if it was $20 night a simple guest house would be better

When me and my friend arrived to the hotel, there was confusion with payment and the staff had no idea about how we had paid through PayPal through Booking.com. They seemed untrained and too young. Entering through the lift to our room, the halls and lift were filthy. The room didn’t have a working safe. We told reception. He said he will get batteries. After waiting 15 minutes in our room, I went to reception. The employee was sat doing nothing. He then provided batteries for another employee to fix the safe. This didn’t work, so he got another safe. This was fine but took an hour to fix. Our room was smaller than the photos appear. It was filthy. We were provided with disgusting flip flops used multiple times. The shower didn’t work properly and was leaking. It wasn’t held apart by flimsy metal wire. The wardrobe didn’t shut and had pieces sticking out. It was a joke. We went to the pool, which is also significantly smaller than it appears on the website for Bookings.com. The staff STARED at us constantly. We could not swim or relax without being watched. It made us feel very uncomfortable. At night it was SOOOOO loud. It was worse than my student accommodation in first year university in England. You CANNOT sleep here. I told reception and they did absolutely nothing about the guests making noise. In the morning the staff themselves made noise! They literally were sat outside our room on the floor talking excessively loud and playing noises from their phones. I told them politely to stop but they didn’t. We checked out after one night, despite after having paid in full for six nights. The reception staff did not agree with us saying it is noisy. They even had the cheek to make us pay for two bottles of water, despite us leaving because of the abysmal standards of the hotel several days early with zero apology or care. No refund of any kind was offered. I am not one to complain but this hotel was that bad I am warning others.

Bedroom was so small no place to put your luggage so we ask to upgrade to bigger room. All the sheets are dirty white/ thread bare and the towels are also as bad, thin as I think my rags is thicker than the hotels linen. That wasn’t a big deal supposed to be But the staff Not to mention the staff is the worse stafff I ever encounter of my 20+ years International travelling. I ask her name and took her photo just in case she won’t tell me the truth and I said you won’t get a good review from me on my surprise Ms Soey Keo threaten me & my partner that she has also our photos coz she have a copy of our passport I said can you call your manager please, her reply call yourself 😁😁😁 so I give up and report her on the next day. PS: it only started when I ask why no ones cleaning the room she replied did you ask for it to be clean and I said I shouldn’t ask and also the room was clean yesterday I didn’t ask for it. Ms Soey Keo.s reply your lying you came to the front desk and ask to be clean we have a video I said check your video and see if I ask but you shouldn’t telling your customer that there lying. This hotel is a nightmare

Our fiasco started at our check in. We were given the wifi password and our room. The room was lower quality than expected but that wasn't a big deal. We tried to connect to the wifi and it didn't work. We went down to the front desk who told us it had been out all day and tomorrow it will be fixed. We were provided the wifi for hotel next door and again assured that the hotel's real wifi would work tomorrow. Well the supplemental wifi worked but didnt reach our hotel room so we were without internet. It's worth mentioning that we also looked at the pool and it was not being cleaned - there was algae growing inside. When we went to check on the wifi the next day, the front desk told us there was no definite timeline for repair. At this point we're thinking, we paid for a 4 star hotel and right now they can't even tell us if we'll have wifi at all during our 5 night stay. We asked the booking company to cancel. They said they have no control over it and to contact the front desk. The front desk said the booking company needs to contact her manager for permission to cancel, and there was nothing she could do. I contact the booking company again and explain this. They say they will be in contact. Another hour passes and the front desk has no new information. I ask the booking company and they say the hotel refused to allow an early check out and refund for the future nights booking. I explain the circumstances of the shoddy room condition and no wifi (as well as aircon that wouldn't cool down past 26 degrees all night) and we agreed to cancel the last 3 nights and stay only one more night at the hotel. We felt this was reasonable because it was 11am at this point and they would have a hard time finding someone else to take the room at such short notice. I confirmed twice with the company that we would check out the next day and we would be billed for only the 2 nights we stayed. At noon I get an angry call from the front desk telling us we have 20 minutes to pack our things and leave, or pay in cash for the second night. They said the second night of booking was a fee for cancelling and we had to pay again to stay a second night. I showed them screenshots of my conversation stating in crystal clear terms that we were billed for 2 nights and would pay for 2 nights. She did not care to read it and demanded we leave the hotel or pay her in cash. We packed up our things and left.

the staff was all fairly new they had no clue, for example upon my check out the girl tried to charge me for the mini bar when in fact their were no items ever stocked in the mini bar, the manager is even worse I requested extra pillows for leg issue and she looked at me as if I was crazy, lastly the elevator was out for days.
