I booked the Ministry of Health quarantine package to complete the mandatory 2 nights of quarantine while waiting for arrival Covid test results from our flight. My deluxe room was huge, had a great river view, and a beautiful bathroom. If you need to stay in your room for 2 days, this is a good place to do it! Staff were friendly and helpful, and able to assist with luggage at check-in and check-out. The food options are expensive (flat $10 per meal), not well-suited to dietary restrictions, and the portions are quite small (and I'm not a big eater to begin with). The hotel will let you order delivery, but I was there during a national holiday and most places were closed. Definitely worth bringing some snacks. Nobody contacted me to tell me when I could check out. I knew to watch a chat group that had others from my flight staying at another hotel. It would be helpful if Sokha was more proactive about this.

We arrive late at night and have been quickly taken care by staff. Room was big, clean and I have been helped by staff for my luggages. Environment was quiet, bed was comfortable. The view is amazing ! Food is fixed for quarantine guest, packaged with(too much) plastic. Staff were nice when asking for more tea bags by phone and they ask tuktuk for me when I left. Thank you for this two days.

Booked this according to the MoFA guidance on people returning to Cambodia. 1. Check in done through the back basement door. Understandable for health reasons. 2. Lift didn’t work, had to take service elevator. 3. Upgraded room, which was nice of them. 4. (4) 330ml bottles of water, I was out after a coffee and drink. 5. Bedroom air conditioning was broken, slept on the tiny 2 seat sofa. a) they came and fixed it the next day 6. Loud drilling began in the morning (it woke me up) and continued all day. Not what I was hoping for after traveling/not sleeping for ~40 hours. 7. Food options for MoH guests is fixed and prepackaged. Wasn’t great, wasn’t too bad though. a) They wouldn’t let me order room service/other items on their room service menu except drinks. b) A Diet Coke is $4.05!!! c) Every interaction with room service upset me. Rude, forgetful and generally inept. 8. eHotel smart TV in living room didn’t work 100%, needs updating or something. 9. Room was dusty. 10. Housekeeping didn’t clean or replenish items on day 2. 11. Communication about the process was bad. I didn’t know when my passport or results would be picked up or when/if I could leave. 12. Staff were frustrating. Told me to check out in the normal lobby, had to try 3 different lifts to get there. Again ended up in the service elevator. Redirected to basement again. 13. Concierge staff were very friendly/helpful when checking out. While in the main lobby you can see how bad things are. Whole areas under construction, lobby was hot/barren and scaffolding/work being done in main areas. I understand that hotels are hurting right now and that I was there under a special MoH package but had the room been clean, service been good and everything working I may have inquired about staying there for the remainder of my self quarantine. As it was, I couldn’t wait to leave and am much happier elsewhere. A shame as I’ve spent weeks in the Siem Reap Sokha and generally liked it. There are currently only two hotels listed on the MoFA site and the other looks worse so there’s not much choice. Do your two days and then have other options prepared.

Got family event at the hotel and spent two nights in the family suite with a spectacular view. Thank you Ms. Sophea for the warm hospitality. She was very helpful to cater our needs. Overall, enjoyed the stay and food. Their signature Pate bread is worth a try.

The room was not clean at all. There was so much dust everywhere and in the bathroom. The food was not fresh because there were not many visitors when I was there, so the food looked like it had been left for 2-3 days. The most important thing was their customer service. We were mistakenly charged TWICE for our stay, once on a credit card that I used for security deposit and second on a card that I used for checkout. When I checked out, the staff told me that the security deposit card won't be charged because there is no damage to the room and they will only charge once of USD315 for the whole stay. I came back home and find that the hotel charged me twice. I contacted them and provided evidence of the double charge, but their tactic is that they will drag your claim out for a year and then say there is nothing they can do. VERY DISHONEST STAFF. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
