From the moment we arrived, we knew our stay was going to be exceptional. An upgrade to Majestic Suite, was given, without fanfare. The room was huge, then there was the plunge pool and bathroom on top !!!! Wow! Staff were very welcoming. Just so comfortable. Faultless. Good location. Great food. Exceptional value. An outstanding reason to visit Phnom Penh. Memorable. .
Our room was luxurious and huge. We ate several meals at the restaurant which for us worked well to ease us into the Khmer cuisine. The staff went above and beyond, helping out over the phone when we had transport issues, after we'd checked out! They even upgraded our room when we returned for a second night. Highly recommend.
This was a wonderful colonial style hotel with large rooms, high ceilings and a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was a great way to start the day. Helpful staff. Great location. Easy to walk or take a tuk tuk anywhere you need to go. It was Kevin’s birthday when we visited and they treated us with some wine, a birthday cake and flower petals on our table! We highly recommend! The only thing that would have made the stay better would have been a gym.
On one of our many trips to Phnom Penh (we live in the province) we chose this hotel for a change. It's located on Pasteur, one of the main streets in central Phnom Penh with access to a lot of restaurants in the area, although this is not really necessary as they have an attached excellent restaurant on the premises. The hotel rooms are well designed. We had a Petite room that was comparatively large to other hotels. It is a standard room though that doesn't really distinguish itself from other hotels in the same category. For this it is definitely overpriced. You can get the same kind of room and service for half the money or less. We took a look at the Luxury room which is definitely quite nice and a good choice for a longer stay but at the price much too expensive too. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very nice and friendly. The receptionist we met seemed to have been the supervisor who was exceptionally outgoing in accommodating us. So except for the pricing we can definitely recommend this hotel. It lacks a pool but we really didn't need one on our short trip the capital. We understand it caters to business people and the restaurant is a popular hang-out for the more well-to-do Khmer class. This might be the reason for their upper-tier pricing.…
Arunreas Hotel never disappoints, this is my second time staying in this hotel and everything about it was wonderful. The service is amazing, the rooms are big and spacious. The tub is the best part, it is more like a pool than a tub ;) If you have the chance to go to Cambodia, make sure you stay here and you will see what I am talking about yourself. Overall I give this hotel 10 stars if I could. I am a super picky customer and there is nothing bad I have to say about this hotel. 100% recommended.
