I have stayed in the Lucky Star numerous times and find the service good, the rooms clean and the place a great value for $12 per night. The rooms are large and air conditioned, the beds adequate and the doors lock. The sheets are clean and the maids keep the rooms in good shape. The location isn't the greatest, but... More

Very budget friendly, deep in the heart of the city, rich in local life. Walk out of the hotel and turn right and there is an excellent cafe on the left at the end of the block. No frills, you're not staying here for the hotel.

Digusting. Sheets had blood on it and the towels are dirty. They did our laundry and it still has stains and got even smellier. They even got the balls to write in blue ink on each of our clothing, our room number. Place is infested with ants. The fridge smells. There were garbage hiding underneath the beds and drawers. Nasty.

I should have expected it for only $15 a night but they could spend a bit more time on the rooms. Ie mirror is dirty. Ants everywhere, furniture very dusty. Only good thing is air con works well. Ok if you are a backpacker. Sheets are old and stained, towels are thin and stained.

If i could give this place a 0 rating I would. Although the staff are friendly, there are many things wrong with this hotel and I guess you get what you pay. There are ants everywhere, the sheets are never changed and toilet paper is not provided. I asked for toilet paper and they said they didn't have any. My... More

We stayed at the Lucky Star Phnom Penh recently when we first arrived in Phnom Penh. The rooms are basic and the decor outdated but with the minimum amenities you need. The staff did speak good English and were helpful each time we needed some information. The lady at reception when we did the check in was a bit abrupt... More

This hotel is excellent if you want somewhere cheap to stay in Phnom Penh & its close to the airport. Ideal for stop overs! However, its a long way from the bars and restaurants on the river front & 51 Street. Its too far to walk and it can be awkward to negotiate a good price with tuk tuk drivers.... More

We were supposed to stay in the Lucky Star 2 hotel but they gave my room away to someone else who hadn't booked. Even though I had already paid for the room a week ago. This review is for the Lucky Star 1 which they transferred us to. I have been in Cambodia for 3 weeks so have stayed at... More

I really can't add much to what has already been said, but I can confirm that from the Soriya Bus Station, it is a $2 tuktuk ride, and from the hotel, it is $6 to the airport. The hotel has a small and eccentric lift; you have to be really, really very quick to enter, and make sure you hold... More
