Arrived excited to visit the Capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, and after 10 minutes at the front desk we were left just praying that not all people here were this rude! Then we saw the room. Large bed, however, takes us 90% of the room space. Leaking sink so whenever you brush you teeth you are soaked. Ants all over...

Like other people said here "you can't really complain for 5$ a night" but the way the guy at the reception treats people is just not worth it.. He made faces almost about any question I've asked him and also made fun of my origin, The day i left i only had a 50$ bill to pay for a meal...

We booked a hostel in Phnom Penh as close as we could to the centre at the cheapest rate we could find. We've stayed in some very basic places on our trip around South East Asia, and this was much the same in terms of the actual room. The difference with Grand View is that you get the bonus of...

There are plenty of other guesthouses for the same amount around Phnom Penh. The rooms here are basic but clean which was fine and good for the price. The real problem was the staff. They are very aggressive and have poor conflict resolution skills. When checking out there were extra items on our bill which obviously weren’t ours as they...

The only one thing I would say is that they could do with getting new fans. It's hot season now and the tiny rooms are SO stuffy. We struggled to sleep. It's a rotating fan and one that you cannot stop from rotating so you can't just focus it at your head whilst you sleep, which would be better. Other...

Mostly funny staff. Rooms literally with the size of the bed + small small bathroom. When you go there first time you can feel a bit strange but then you get to really nice, cosy 'guesthouse area'. It's clean so if you just need place to sleep we can reccomend it.

We stayed here for two nights and was pleasantly surprised -For a few dollars a night it was excellent value- the room had recently been refurbished and was clean including a newly tiled bathroom. Although the room was very small it was ideal for a few nights stay and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The Amok curry was...

We stayed for 1 night in a twin bed room where you could not even move, neither placing your bags on the floor because it was so little. The room and sheets were dirty and full with holes. The "bathroom" was so little you nearly had to stand on the toilet for taking a shower, as well there is no...
