We arrived late at night by the Capitol bus. Seemed like a logical choice to stay at the Capitol guest house when we wanted to catch Ne next bus to Sihanoukville in the morning. We got room 329, after 2hrs we found it full of bed bugs. We run away through the reception where I collected my money. Definitely would... More

cheap budget guesthouse a short distance to markets bars restaurants etc the capitol bus station is down stairs i would suggest the rooms i was shown and stayed in, are more suited to the single or budget traveler as they are small (cozy) with 1 single bed the bathroom was clean with only cold water! they tell me they have... Not too expensive, a little out of the way but within walking distance of anything you will need and, the s21 museum, bars and food if you are not a lazy chump. At this guest house, if you have a friend over when your grind leaves, reception calls you to make sure they have not stolen anything. Very good.

I can only recommend to book with Capitol. It's the cheapest Cambodian travel agency by far. I organized everything through them. Even the visa and the bus to Vietnam. I got through the same day and had no problems at all. About the Guesthouse: It's standard, being central in Pnomh Penh. It's near the Orussey market where you can find... More

Located near the Orussey market. They provide bus services to all provinces in Cambodia. The receptionIst speaks good English and is very helpful. The food is more expensive than other shops and there is no elevator in the guesthouse.

We've booked rooms by their email address with a quick answer. The staff is friendly and speaks well English. We've had a room the first time without window with a/c and private bathroom. It was clean but a bit smelly. The second time was a room with window, it was clean with a really strong smell of cigarets and we've... More

No Muscle-bound Rodents Scurrying About I’ve done a whole bunch of international traveling in the last 30 years. Usually I gravitate towards budget accommodations. What the heck, when traveling I don’t hang out in a room gazing upon the room’s fancy décor, I’m out and about, checking out the sights. Soaking up a little culture. Usually a comfy bed, a... More

I foolishly checked into the $4 room with fan and no windows, number 220. Within 30 minutes I was being bitten by bed bugs. I managed to kill two to photograph and show the management. I was offered another room but insisted on a refund, which was resentfully honoured. I left at midnight with no apology to find somewhere else... More

Cheap and cheerful. If a room with no windows but clean and cheap is your thing then this is perfect. Centrally located above the Capital buses to Snookyville and beyond. They have just refurbished the café downstairs but it now looks more tacky. Good meeting point however.
