Over-priced, and you can find a better deal nearby. Also, I was overcharged $20 (US) recently for meals that I did not eat (I never even visited therestaurant there in the hotel). Unfortunately, I didn't realize I had been overcharged until I had already checked out and left the city.

It is a a decent hotel but I would say you can rather get a better place for same rate. The stuff doesn't speak english and can be rude at times. Good part it is just close to Genocide Museum and Russian market.

Stayed there two different times. Second time the AC was not working so they changed my room. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is worth the price of the room. Good internet and I was able to video conference without lag or freezing.

3-4 star service from the staff but unfortunately the accommodation is very dated and basic (2 star max). I stayed at Kolab Kor in a deluxe room with private balcony. The room is large and spacious, but the bathroom smelled awful - a combination of damp, BO and old cigarettes, the room wasn’t cleaned on a number of days and I had to request new towels. To paint how basic the room was - there was no wardrobe, just a makeshift one with a dusty curtain, the wall behind the bed is just pure cement (I think they were trying to go for a ‘rustic’ look but were unsuccessful in achieving this given the rest of the ‘decor’), there was an ‘armchair’ in the room - but it was clearly very old and not comfortable to sit in. I didn’t spot any bed bugs but I did get bitten overnight. The bedding was also not premium and not what I would expect in a 4 star establishment - the duvet was simple a mattress protector inside some sheets - there were also holes and stains on the sheets. There was wifi but the connection wasn’t great - I had to tether through my phone half the time as the connection would keep dropping. There was also one occasion when I got into a lift and someone was smoking a cigarette inside - it’s disgusting. IIn terms of breakfast - there is a selection of foods available but nothing to my fancy, I also had dinner in the skybar one evening - not great either.
