Good morning General Manager I will stay in 2 tonight Cambodia hotel room is all it’s OK but electricity problem Wi-Fi problem is air conditioner problems I was Complain nobody pick up the call operator not responsible Not safe for the room Note! Very important New upgrade room 5floor I was request please improvement and development thank you 🙏
Booked through booking.com asking couple questions at the time which were responded to promptly. Whilst value for money this Old Dear has done her duty and renovation cost would be a truck load compared to what is being developed in Phnom Penh at the moment with off shore investment, such a project won’t happen. So if you stay here the above needs to be accepted. Was upgraded to a Deluxe with River View which really helped with ambiance as City View is a large noisy bustling street beyond the vast front grounds of the Hotel. Air conditioning is a nightmare. Wall mounted push button style control panel to which the ac unit does not respond. Control panel would earn attention in any respectable museum - never seen anything like this before. Good gym and very good pool. Nice bar at lobby level but no bar which capitalised the river view, not sure why not. There is a pool side bar but unsure if this was operating, very hot outside during the day at the moment. Depends what you are seeking ie some respite from the noise and jostle etc or to enjoy the local hospitality but location is restrictive in that there is nothing around other than the Casino complex for which it would be wise to at least get a tuk tuk. No nearby cafes, restaurants nor bars and evenings traffic is bothersome at times when heading for tourist strip. Nice river promenade walk available out the back gate of hotel grounds but unsure if safe at night. Overall staff are well trained, friendly and helpful. Enjoyed interaction with housekeeping and bar staff. Breakfast room staff were fazed with simple request for wi fi access from this location and I think still seeking an answer to my question. Am I the first to have asked this - never mind. Would have rated as Average but am out of sorts over frustration in getting some action for response about gym equipment closed for maintenance and the very poor communication on this issue. Had almost pleaded for Management to respond to no avail.…
Manager ignores complaints. Will not open the window for fresh air. Will not you up mini fridge. Tries not to let you out of the $30 a day food package unless you insist... then a burger is $16 . Club sandwich $10... if its the ritzy I expect better service for these prices
As i have been staying in this hotel for my quarantine i have been struggling with air con which they turn it off at night time to save electricity unfortunately i am the one who stay in that hotel. It was so hot and j couldnt sleep at all. About the internet it take you forever to load into a side.
Very pleasant stay of 17 nights for a work trip. WiFi was good for my purposes and worked all over the hotel. Staff was very courteous and helpful. However, as often happens in many properties, the servers were over-zealous at breakfast. and frequently whisked away my unfinished toast, croissant or coffee cup when I was visiting a food station and before I had finished. I gently scolded them for it as I then needed to obtain new utensils and / or go for additional food since my unfinished food had been removed. Something for staff mentors to take into account. The range of options for breakfast was extensive and catered for all tastes - there was an egg station too which was a plus. Views across the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers were wonderful and should be requested at every opportunity. The gym was good for a hotel facility but availability of benches for free weights was limited as they were frequently commandeered by other users. The sauna was a highlight for me and I used it regularly, but the steam room had a bad odor and seemed too cool for a genuine steam room experience. Overall, I will return again on my next assignment.…
Friendly and well trained frontline staff and very helpful, too. Had a clean and spacious room and the lobby and restaurant were just as great. It also has a good breakfast set up and a wonderful restaurant team to keep the service going smoothly. If you are there and have some extra time, don't forget to say hello to the General Manager, Mr Stefan, whenever you spot him doing his rounds. He is very courteous and friendly to speak with.
This hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful. I liked that it has a pharmacy and travel agency on site. I enjoyed staying in the room as well as the hotel. The hotel is located in a great spot where access to many sites in the city is very convenient.
Staff are great but the building should've been bulldozed years ago. Our River-facing room on the third floor was large and comfortable, particularly the bed however the bathroom was poor with cigarette burns on the vanity. There was also mould in joints and in the bath. Only one available power point in the room so a juggling act for charging electronic devices. Thermostat didn't work so the room was quite cold. The hotel was not worth the asking price. On the plus side, breakfast was good.
the rooms are tidy. the rennovation is old and outdated (especially the bathrooms). price for food at restaurants at the hotel is very pricey compared with what is available within 10 min walking distance. Great location and staff is willing to help when needed. average overall
We attend The CCS meeting yesterday sponsor by CCS and Hub Horeca . after meeting we join for Lunch open buffet . which is very lovely selection and every station there are chefs standing to assist for our needs , we enjoyed the food and their potential care by service . even the lunch was very busy with other group but everyone get their needs . Personally Big thanks to the management for maintaining atmosphere :) !
