Our tour operator booked us into this hotel for two nights once we had driven up from Koh Rong. After a six hour drive we checked into what was clearly a corporate hotel with business people. The room was large and clean but not special. Check in was efficient. We went down for a meal and found the restaurant in the lobby and it was empty. We were seated at a window and shown the menu. We left. We ordered a very average but expensive meal via room service. The next day after a visit to the Genocide museum which was nearby we went for a couple of hours to the pool. It looked abandoned and dirty. Grime coated the railings and steps into the pool. We didn’t swim. After an hour some business men came up to sit at the pool to work. Incongruous to be sitting in swimwear beside them so we left. If you are in Phnom Penn for business this may be a good hotel for its location. For us we were disappointed that our travel agent thought it suitable. There is nothing nearby if you want food or to have a walk. We would not return and we would not recommend for tourist.

Formally ‘The Intercontinental’....this is an up market hotel offering great dining and accommodation. Spacious and well maintained, the buffet breakfast and dinner on offer is as good as any in city... It has a fully equipped gymnasium and health spa, pleasant garden and pool area... The in house Chinese restaurant is top class and authentic...

Absolutely stunning. At $50 per head it is great value for money. The range and quality of food is unbelievable, seafood, roast meats, salads, Asian cuisine. The management and staff preformed brilliantly, nothing was to much trouble. Looking forward to the Valentines Day brunch.

Lovely old colonial hotel, sumptuously decorated, with very comfortable bedrooms. However, following a mix up in the payment through my travel agent, the attitude of the management left a lot to be desired. They were distinctly unhelpful. On the hand the regular staff were extremely helpful, polite and attentive.

Probably a 4.5 star but I've given it a 5 based on the excellent staff, from the front desk to the bar/club lounge. Service at breakfast was probably one of the best I've experienced, great staff with an excellent selection of foods from around the world. Talking with some of the management the Great Duke will continue to improve allot of the facilities, I think the hotel was run down during the Intercontinental ownership. I would recommend this hotel to both business and families, great pool and gym. I would stay here again
