For every positive at the Diamond Palace, there seemed an immediate negative. The hotel shuts from 0:00-06:00, arriving shortly after it opened I was told check in would be at 14:00. I presumed this was because of lack of available rooms but after sitting around watching people check out I found it was hotel policy to accept guests only after...

this hotel is in a great location but unfortunately it is not a 3 star 2 at best it is still charging 3 star. the staff are great helpful and pleasant but the building is tired socket box hanging off the wall, slow shower drains, constant battle to get anything other than a hand towel, air con that struggles and...

The location is excellent, right next to river front - and very close to royal palace..however, the room was very small - it ended as soon as i entered..it did not have windows either. was on the 2nd floor, with no lifts. so get ready for some exercise. in the hindsight, i would have preferred a hostel over this room...

The hotel is in an excellent location near the Royal Palace and riverside. The decor could maybe use a bit of freshening, but the character of the carved doors and ornate ceilings overrode that, in my opinion. Staff did a great job whenever I needed anything. On the morning I left on an early bus, they started breakfast early so...

A horrible hotel, ancient rooms, quite small rooms, broken toilet, rude staff, unclean premises. Not sure what qualifies it to be a hotel. Many many cheaper options available in nearby area. Don't go there unless you have no other choice.

This budget hotel is literally next to the Royal Palace and National Museum! The balconies have an excellent view of these buildings and the royal cremation park. The old-fashioned rooms are small and simply furnished, but very good value for the price you pay and its central location. There are good Khmer restaurants around the block, and more at Sisowath...

We booked this hotel earlier this year for September. It looked to be in a good location and in good condition from the photos we had seen. But, we were wrong. We checked in and went to our room and it was a lot smaller than we thought. No window in the bathroom and no external windows, just a caged...

Well, let's start with the bad side: 1. Dark and dull interior. Well you can sleep in there of course, but the room quality was at the lower ranks during my entire trip experience. 2. No elevator, and the stairs were like weirdly designed. Normally, stairs should be at the center of the building of ease of transferring; but for...

This is a good cheap hotel, but with stairs that are a bit of a nightmare. The staff are sleepy but they manage to get things done, and there is generally a nice feel about the place. I enjoyed my stay of 4 nights. It is 100 metres from the Tonle Sap River and the terrific view from the top...

Negatives: * No elevator (beware if you have heavy luggage), steep stairs * Dirty linens, yellow marks on the bedsheets (we need to moved in another room upstairs) * Telephone is not working * Other rooms doesn't have water kettle, if you have one, its cover is broken so be extra careful it will fall when you fill your cup...
