I understand that it is a budget guesthouse. The location is great but the place itself is rundown and smells really bad. I could tolerate tiny smelly rooms BUT dozens of cockroaches running up the walls and on the floor like they own the place was too much.

I didn't stay here but just by chance decided to give it a go as it was late afternoon and wanted somewhere different to try for a beverage. The staff were very friendly and the service quick and as it was happy hour I had two white Russians for $3.50. Being on the corner it is a good place to watch the world go by if a little noisy. Visited again before I left Phnom Penh and probably visit again on my return.

I wish I had read the reviews before booking this hotel firstly like to say the staff are lovely but overworked which reflects on their attitude when you have constant requests because the facilities are underpar I concur with most of the reviews already mouldy, dirty, animals and animal faeces in your walkways, Block toilets not being attended to left all day and smelt rank on top of the musty mouldy smell to begin with I understand you’re not paying fortune about $12 USthrough hotels.com A night I can handle and in humanely small room with no windows and even rattling air conditioner but when basic hygiene is not adhered too, And request for help not followed up and toilet and bathing facilities are not functionable, in the end I packed my bags three days and two rooms into the stay the owner/manager show me to the VIP suite and said I could have it then but I still had to pay an extra five dollars US per night and when I say VIP suite that was their words it was however clean enough and functioning enough for me to stay as that’s all I wanted in the first place was clean safe bed and shower/toilet I wouldn’t recommend it

Beer is very cold, 2 half pints for a dollar for happy hour. Service is fast and efficient. Stopped in 6 times and seen a huge rat 5 times, there are 2 small scrawny cats around. There was 1 rat under the guys chair just sitting there. Oh well.

We weren’t supposed to stay here. We booked another hotel but the ac in the room we booked wasn’t working so they offered us a room in this place. Well, the room (and the whole hotel, really) smelled of mold, the sheets had stains, the room in general didn’t feel clean and to top it off, when we opened the tap, the water would come out from the bottom of the sink. The cherry on top of the cake was the fact that we found cat’s poop on the hallway, right next to our room. We informed the people working there before we went out for dinner and, surprise surprise, when we got back it was still there. Actually, it was still there when we left the room the next day. It could still be there for all I know... A friend of ours had cockroaches in his room and the employees gave him a spray and told him to fix it himself. The only good thing about this place is the location, everything else is a joke.
