As a single female traveling in Cambodia, Cheeky Monkey is the perfect place to stay. It has become more of a long term housing residence, with people's stays ranging from 4-6 weeks. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the price includes a wonderful open living room, 2 outdoor porches, a clean usable kitchen, and a housekeeper who conveniently does...

This is a nice place and the owners are awesome with lots of info and very helpful, but... The rooms are pretty small and dark with not much of a view and the price seemed to be a bit high, at least for the room with the private bathroom ($24). It's a bit away from much of the action as...

I stayed from June 29-July 4, 2012 and Steve & Erica (owners) and some of their long-term guests were just wonderful! My flight was scheduled in at 1130pm, however, due to delays I didn't arrive until 3:30am! I felt bad coming in so late, but once I rang the buzzer Erica came down the 2-3 flights of stairs to let...

We loved the home stay, after traveling for a while it's nice to have a place where you can just relax and feel at home. The view is to die for, you are high up and can sit outside on the balcony and watch the sunset. The rooms were massive and everything was perfect, you have everything in luxury for...

We stayed just one night at the Cheeky Monkey. It’s situated in the upper floors of an residential building. The owners live on the top, the rooms are in separated floors from their flat. For the hotel guests they have a kitchen and a spacious living room. Free WiFi is available. To walk it’s about 20 minutes to the center/silver...

I stayed at the Cheeky Monkey for 5 weeks whilst working in Phnom Penh and it was fantastic, it honestly felt like a home away from home. It's the perfect place to stay for a long term stay as you have all the facilities you need (laundry, kitchen, wifi, aircon, tv) with breakfast included at a very affordable price. Erica...

I stayed here with my husband in January this year. We loved it, the staff were all so friendly and the rooms were lovely, we were a little concerned that we were using a shared bathroom but there was no need as we were the only ones that needed to use it as the other roomes were ensuite. The breakfast...

I chose this place because I thought it might be a good base to get to know Phnom Penh from and I must say I wasn't disappointed at the all. It's located on a cool little street in a residential area that's close by to the main attractions (riverside, Independence Monument, BKK1 bars & restaurants). I stayed in a double...
