Have stayed at the Hometown Hotel many times on many visits to the great city of Phnom Penh. I've always found the staff (many have been there for years) to be helpful and there whenever you need them. Reception is always attended no matter what ungodly hour you stagger in from a night out. The location is great, just the...

We booked one night here as we were getting the early morning bus the next day to Vietnam. The staff were friendly, the room was very clean spacious with a fridge, kettle & TV with a good few channels including movies. There was also a couch in the room. For the price we paid it was a good stay.

Stayed there on and off a few times. The staff was consistently great, smiling and helpful. They even kept some luggage for a few weeks despite limited storage space. Location is perfect, close to most sites of interest and loads of cheap restaurants. While all rooms are large, not all of them are equal and some are due for an...

We spent 3 nights here and have to say the best thing for us was the location, it's about a ten minute walk to the river front where you can find bars cafes and all kinds of eateries. On first impressions the hotel seemed good, but on close examination it's very rough around the edges.i have to say the reception...

We struggled to find accommodation last minute in Phnom Penh so had to spend a little more than normal. I'm not sure this was worth it. It was in a great location close to attractions and bars/restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean with standard hotel facilities. The view was of an air...

I had 2 days in PP and didn't want to spend a fortune. The hotel is perfectly suitable for a short or long stay. Basic hotel but for $17 a night I can't complain. Lots of places to eat or drink close by - and a few hooker bars outside. Room had a small tv, beat up old fridge -...

We rented a room for about five days around NY. The neighborhood is very active with a mix of local and western food available. Tons of Tuk-Tuks for convenience. It is an easy walk to the palace and the River walk. The room was furnished with a nice hard bed, cleaned daily (provided waters as well), and we had the...

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. The location was great for everything we wanted to see but dingy hotel, in a seedy area. Hotel was rowdy at night with people banging doors and the locks on the door were old and loose which didn't feel very safe. Bathroom also looked as if it was still under construction....
