We have fallen in love with this place! The photos barely do it justice. It’s so beautiful, open, clean, tidy, well designed and well made. Big TV in the room with Netflix and lots of other options to wind down your evening. The food was delicious, very generous breakfast and lots of cocktail options. Balcony was lovely and it was nice to have both air con and a fan. Pool was amazing. Very big! Swim up areas and the staff always cleaning everything. Staff were all so kind, generous and have very good English. Always offering to help and making sure you’re comfortable. Only thing, we found the bed a bit hard for our liking. But that takes our 6/5 star rating to a 5/5 star.

We felt very comfortable at plantation resort. Staff were super welcoming and helpful. Food from the restaurant was excellent. Cocktails from the bar we top notch. The pool was clean and refreshing. The room we had was spacious. Our only critique is that we found the bed a little firm. Otherwise a wonderful stay, would recommend and would return at a later date

The Plantation is always my go to place to stay in Phnom Penh.The hotel was going thru a refurbishment and the management & staff went out of their way to make everything as comfortable as possible. The breakfast & restaurant is very good however they need more Vegetarian & Vegan options.The new rooms were good but having one side of the bed against a wall is very strange.The pool was a welcoming relief as it was very hot.

Possibly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at in my life and I travel a lot. I’ve experienced a lot of hotels. The pool area is very tropical with lots of mature plants and trees. The water temperature is perfect. Great cabanas on the edge of the pool and plenty of them. The food at the restaurant is great. Plus I love the lighting in the restaurant at night. In fact the lighting is well thought out throughout the hotel and in the rooms, creating ambience and mood. It’s something that’s so often overlooked in hotels. The room itself is a reasonable size with a very comfortable bed, fridge, tv, AC, god water pressure and hot water, lots of nice little touches in the rooms. Pretty cushions, free water, toiletries, flowers. I also loved the day bed for reading. I had a balcony overlooking the pool on the second level. It was peaceful and all I could hear was bird song. The staff are smiley and attentive. The location is perfect. Yet despite its central location it’s so peaceful. When you come in off the street and walk passed the Koi carp pond you feel as if your walking into another world. It’s as if the sound even from the street gets turned down, even the air smells differently here which I’m assuming is due to all the plants. The price is competitive and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the place highly. I will be returning in December and will definitely be back. Also don’t miss a deep tissue massage at the spa with Bopa , it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Just book it! …

My family of 4 stayed here in early April 2023. The hotel was apparently under construction, but we barely noticed. The room was clean, the pool was lovely, and the food and drinks at the poolside restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel is very centrally located just a short walk to the riverfront, restaurants/bars, and all sorts of other sights. We had an unfortunate issue with our door lock not working properly, and it took a couple days to fix, but the hotel did offer to immediately move us to another room but we declined as we loved our original room so much, so really we had to accept the inconvenience. I would recommend this hotel for couples or families and would stay there myself if I went again.

This is quite a basic hotel. The room is small,with no separate bathroom but a glass (partly frosted door) for the shower and toilet which are then directly accessed from the bedroom. The balcony faced a brick wall with zero view. The room feels travelodge like. When we arrived the room was very hot,but it did cool. There is no air conditioning in the communal areas or at the restaurant. This means you are very hot as soon as you leave the room. Breakfast was ok, but not overly clean. Staff were very friendly and wanted you to be happy. Location great near the palace - a very easy walk. I would not stay again. This was sold to us on a third party website as 4 star when it is actually three star.

Located strategically for exploring by foot and easy arrival by tuktuk. Absolutely beautiful pool and gardening with private poolside locations. Very good breakfast, staff and manager are on location and very helpful with transportation, contacting local businesses, reservations etc (guides are limited as post Covid closings are partially updated).

I stayed here in April 2023 with my 7-year old child and we had an extremely positive experience staying at Plantation Resort! The room was clean, spacious, and always nice and cool. We've stayed at numerous hotels in Phnom Penh, and Plantation has our favorite pool. The customer service is also excellent.

This must be the best hotel in the city. We had a wonderful stay. Peaceful, quiet, but with families welcome. The rooms were lovely. The staff were all excellent. I had a very well performed massage. We did have crossed wires on messages before we arrived. So, the most important thing to say about the hotel is that the management dealt with it brilliantly, explained clearly the situation, and checked we were happy. I was very impressed. Highly recommended.

Outstanding accomodation in Phnom Penh. A wee oasis in the middle of a busy city. Fantastic staff who were super friendly and accessible. Lovely atmosphere. The pool and little bureau’s beside the pool, each with their own fan were the best. Highly recommend.
