Location wasn’t really great but good enough to go somewhere around. Price was only $35 to book directly with reception but you got a room with balcony on higher floor. AC was working good. They got beautiful looking-like Avocado bathtub which was comfortable. Front desk staff were not really friendly.
I stayed for three nights and very much enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I enjoyed staying in a quiet neighborhood where I could walk safely about. The management made sure my needs were taken care of as I was here during a holiday so many transport and restaurants were closed. They even reopened the kitchen when they found out I had not had lunch after my outing. The rooms could use a place to store clothing for an extended stay, and I definitely recommend a balcony room. I really enjoyed this friendly, safe and quiet hotel.
I usually only take time to write awesome reviews when warranted, but today when I left this hotel I was deflated and needed to share- the reviews I had recently read for this hotel made me pick it - and I was indeed unsure why people rave about the staff. I felt like they were a bunch of teenagers sitting around the front desk with their phones. I often didn’t know who actually worked there. The room was fine for the amount paid, but there was no hot/warm water. When I mentioned this - they said to run it longer.. 3 days later and still no hot water. In a country like Cambodia you can feel pretty blessed to have the freedom to travel etc - so you don’t want to complain, but honestly, the staff couldn’t have cared less. Even when I checked out - they took my key and went back to their phones. So weird as the hospitality I’ve had this far had been great. Location is good, restaurant was closed for no reason while I was there. Apparently they did breakfast but I wasn’t keen. Bonus was the woman next door at the salon washed & dried my hair and gave a head massage for $12. I’m not a princess. I can handle cold water - I’m just not impressed by people who aren’t kind or friendly. The housekeepers did smile! Good luck! …
We stayed here for 6 nights. We really got to know the neighbourhood and found our favourite cafe and central square ( can't recall the name) which was great for morning and evening walks. The location caters for local, expats and tourists; a great mix. The hotel has a relaxed and stylish lobby area with comfortable seating. There is also a rooftop pool with sun lounges. Our room was a little small with inadequate space for clothing. We used the lobby and pool area quite a bit to excape the confined space in the room. Overall value for money
Great accommodation. Comfortable and clean. Staff really look after you and are exceptionally friendly. Bar makes excellent cocktails and coffees. Restaurant on site. Location fantastic and convenient to everything. Highly recommend
Stayed for 2 nights with another couple Good location and value for money. Nice rooms and reception bar roof pool and view and breakfast were all good. Laundry was expensive so we didn’t use it. They need to improve their booking system as our room was occupied when we opened the door. Concierge sorted it but took 40 mins. Also our friends on the 2nd floor had no hot water for their two days despite advising reception on day 1. Other reviewers have said the same. So fix these issues please for the next guests.
I really liked the atmosphere of this hotel. It’s got modern and stylish decor, and rooms look fantastic (the giant stone tub was also a bonus). It’s clean, centrally located, great views from the room, good staff and a good price, but I had a few minor problems. The person before me in my room had obviously been smoking in the room, and it took a few days for the smell to go away. Housekeeping missed cleaning my room one day, and the restaurant was closed without warning when I stopped by for a quick dinner. My room was not well soundproofed, and the neighboring room was very loud, so if you’re looking for quiet, it may not be your first choice.
Nice room, nice bathroom, good balcony and comfy bed. The rooftop pool was so good in the sweaty city of Phnom Penh! Pool area had a nice view of a glowing building (photo.) Nice bar and restaurant in lobby area. Would stay here again.
Tue rooms are quite old. There was no hot water in shower. The doors do not fit properly so you can hear all the noise from the street. Room 404 is just in front of cleaner's room, and you can hear all the noise. Restaurant is really expensive. The best thing the pool, but no staff around to order drinks/food. My room had no windows, which ended up being a plus because of the noise. Overall it needs renovation and it is overpriced for what you get. The photos in internet are not what you will see, everything is old and ovrused.
Been here 2 times and will come back for sure. I would say this is my favorite hotel in Phnom Penh. Good value and location (close to Aeon Mall 1 and not too far from the city center). The room was always nice and clean, with small balcony outside and stone bathtub inside your bath room. The staffs are helpful and friendly.
