My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and were very disappointed. It's a lovely looking hotel, with a great rooftop pool and restaurant, however we were very disappointed with our room and the service. We stayed in the Suite, which is located on the 7th floor, directly beneath the restaurant. There's a lot of noise at night and early in the morning, chairs scraping on the floor, banging noises coming through the floor late into the night and when breakfast is being set up. And on one of the nights they had a live band upstairs which was very loud in our room. We were told that they would finish at 9pm however they continued playing until well after 10pm which made it very loud and unpleasant in our room. The hotel was very unapologetic for this, simply said restaurant guests wanted the band to continue so despite the disturbance to hotel guests they let the band and noise continue. Also there is a glass door between the bathroom and bedroom, and no window coverings over the large bathroom window so the room itself was very light all night with city lights coming through, making sleep difficult. With light and the noise together we had two sleepless nights!! Also by late in the afternoon housekeeping hadn't cleaned our room, so we asked for it to be cleaned, the came but unfortunately they didn't clean our coffee cups, or the floor (there was rubbish on the floor from the guest before us) or refresh our water which isn't a big deal in itself, but in addition to the other issues we had with the room it just added to the overall disappointing experience. We definitely won't stay here again!!…
Perfect stay! Very good service (well english speaking), nice breakfast, sky pool with the best view over phnom pen, calm and safe quarter of the city, rooms are clean, you can have dinner at the rooftop, its not the cheapest but very delicious.. I would totally stay there again if I ever came back to Phnom Penh!
It was a wonderful stay in the Hotel! Me and my husband came for honeymoon and we had a wonderful room with red roses! The food was delicious and the pool with the view was amazing! The service was so friendly and helpful all the time. Especially Mr. Sina was fantastic! He helped us with everything and he always had time for all our questions! Highly recommend!
I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. Not only was the room so comfortable and beautiful, but the amenities were truly fantastic. Great internet, wonderful breakfast, and the COFFEE isn't to be missed! Wow! Best cup of coffee I've had in Cambodia! Industrial chic design, spacious but comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for your time in Phnom Penh. Gorgeous infinity pool as well. Wonderful views of the city, delicious restaurant and bar offerings, very budget-friendly.
I stayed at Aquarius Hotel after a recommendation from a friend. I had booked a Deluxe Room and was kindly upgraded into a higher category room. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, good wifi, good shower and good sound insulation, I did not hear my neighbors at all. I very much enjoyed the pool on the roof of the hotel and the restaurant. The canapes menu is wonderful, especially when you are looking for a small snack. The only point of improvement I would say is the breakfast. A coffee machine would do well and a selection of bread. Otherwise I would say that this hotel offers value for money. The location is close to the Palace and a 10 minutes walk to the Mekong river. I would go back to this hotel any time.
I booked sky bar and hotel room for countdown and end up no reservation for sky bar with only hotel room and no other solution beside the remaining 2 tables at the end of the wall. No apology, Unbelievable!
I am restaurants guests after we paid the bill we go down, but unfortunately, I saw a cap of a beer bottle it come with my phone because my phone charger has a magnet, in that time I don't see any garbage bin nearby the reason why I keep the bottle cover on the counter, but that time the night staff called me to pick it back although my friend goes to take it he still not ok until I go to take it by myself but that's ok I can take it and keep it. But it not end the bad staff he tries to blame us one more time about that in the parking area. I appreciate with restaurant staff but the front desk staff very bad.
Our room was small with no place to store or hang clothes. The bathroom had a leak in the shower. On the other hand the lobby is comfortable, the swimming pool was pleasant and a great respite on the top floor and the restaurant was good for breakfast. We also had lunch on our arrival day. The staff were friendly, helpful and responsive.
Stayed here for 6 days on and off due to the corona crisis and trying to get home. Absolutely amazing hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rooftop pool and bar/restaurant! Couldn’t fault it would recommend in a heartbeat! Had all our meals there and really nice food with excellent service!
A last minute addition to our holiday due to closing of water borders! But what a great hotel! Modern, chic, with an amazing rooftop infinity pool which has a large window in it! Wow! Funky loungers/beds that jut out into the pool. A great selection of cocktails available at the rooftop bar! Breakfast is served in the rooftop bar. What a way to start your day. A great view over the city. Plenty in the buffet, plus a choice of 3 cooked to order breakfasts! Comfy rooms with exposed polished concrete and metal & wood open shelving! Need was comfortable with fresh linen and soft towels. The free toiletries were good too. A good location 5 minutes from the grand palace and an easy tuk-tuk ride from everything else! Very attentive staff, that even have aromatic oil burners going in your room. A great base for Phnom Penh. …
