Headsup for family with youngchildren to request room which have a closer access to the baby pool. Headsup to the different levelling and layering inside the huge pool near the drinkbar for safety measures. They also provide children and toddler play area just below their extensive gym. Towels and toiletries are readily available at the pool and gym restrooms. International buffet cater to all dietary needs. Located inside the mall, hence accessible to all shops etc. on site.

If you don’t care about internet connection, this hotel is okay. The room is comfortable and big enough for solo traveller.

However, if your life depend on internet, please forget this hotel. The WiFi is on/off, frequent logins and sometimes no connection at all. There is no point complaining at front desk as no improvement has been made at their ends. So if you are quarantine in this hotel, please be prepared. Might have to bring video game or something with you. If not, you will be more depressing quarantine in this hotel.

I have been staying at Empire Hotel for all my business trip . I thought it would be good to stay in a new hotel where there are shops, shopping centre and international food.
My first impression was excellent as the lobby looks cosy and check in was fast.
The room is spacious enough but to my disappointment, there is no complimentary drinks in the mini fridge. Toiletries are of average quality ( i bought my own from the shopping mall ), and there is only one hanger in the cupboard.
I had my breakfast at the hotel's cafe- poor service from the waitress and waiter. They do not serve you and they have no initiatives to see to your needs.
I like the location of the hotel as there are activities going on , unlike Empire which is very isolated after dinner time,

We stayed here on a three day/two night stopover at Bandar Seri Begawan. We took a bit of a risk because it had varied reviews but we needn't have worried. You will see I have reviewed heaps of hotels all around the world, but I really felt this was the overall winner! The hotel was huge and luxurious - the rooms were amazing - as well as large themselves they had a large ensuite with bath, shower, wc, vanity etc but also a separate wc in a separate room! The staff were great and efficient with excellent English and the location is second to none with shopping malls and a huge supermarket/variety store in the same building, and shops and restaurants in the streets around. Night markets just a few minutes' walk across a bridge. Near to airport and city centre. Most unexpected but most recommended.

I chose this hotel because it is at a Mall. It is very hot in Brunei, and there is not much to do, so I figured it helped to be by a large mall where you can get coffee, smoothies, and ice cream and walk around. The mall has no international brands at all except Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. Several of the stores focus on Islamic women's wear. There is a large grocery store on the ground floor, and the place is great for people-watching. Right outside of the hotel/mall, there is a McDonalds. I arrived at the airport late from the Philippines. The airport was closed, and there were no services at that hour. Make sure to order a pick-up in advance. I struggled to find an atm that worked and paid someone to take me to the hotel. The room that I got at the hotel was like a freezer. I could not figure out how to adjust the air conditioner. I was so cold that I got sick. I had to ask the hotel a few times to fix the temperature. Finally, they sent a man with a ladder to turn it off. However the room never got warm, and I had to buy a fleece blanket, a hat, and more clothes from the mall to endure it. They did not give me another room. The wifi at this hotel sucks. You need to log on again constantly. The breakfast buffet had mainly carbs, sugary foods, and meats. I did not enjoy it. Most visitors were local families. The staff mainly ignored me ( a solo female traveler). The hotel is decorated opulently with fake antiques. I was so happy to check out, and I will never go back.

We spent 1 night in this hotel during the month of Ramadan 2024. The hotel was quiet and quite empty. We enjoyed the fine and articulative interior design throughout the hotel. Room is spacious and the furniture is old. There are many sockets in the room but not all work. Air conditioner was too cold with or without it on. Basic amenities are there and we were allowed to have as many bottle of drinking water as we wanted during the hot weather. Swimming pool and the gym are great and kids would love the children's playground and pool. Breakfast was not satisfactory. Not much choices and not interesting. The biggest Gadong Mall is linked to the hotel but that time we went, the whole food court was closed until 6.oo pm. During the evening, there were so many people eating and shopping happily.

Nice hotel centrally located near a shopping mall. The rooms are spacious and clean. A bit outdated with decorations. Breakfast is very good and with a good choice of international food. It was easy and comfortable to stay for four nights.

Stayed 3 nights. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast selection was good.
Convenient location as it was within a mall with a cinema on the top floor. Central location and in a quiet commercial area.
