I stayed in Rosewood several times on my past visits to Dhaka and found the hotel to be very convenient. Found that a good portion of guests are on business purposes but there were family groups too at some occasions. The management and staff are friendly, there is a small business center providing desktops and printers including internet. The rooms...

Gulshan is the upscale area area of Dhaka, is central and is quieter than other part of of the city. And in this area getting a hotel room in the price of BDT 5000.00 is really a bonus and that is what hotel Rosewood offers. It is typically a business hotel good for short stay. Their staff is cooperative, rooms are...

Stayed here 3 times on my trip around Bangladesh. The rooms were being refurbished on my first visit and were some what better for the second and third time around. Quiet back road close to the lake, fairly well equipped. Area is lively but an hour away from Old Dhaka (given traffic) Positives, Airport pick up and drop off, Free...

Our recent trip to Dhaka was made very acceptable by the team at our hotel. The food is top class and very original, every staff member gave their best attention to make us comfortable and the tariff, by Dhaka standards, was very reasonable. This is not a good time to visit the city, due to the hartels, blockades and rallies...

The food is good and the indian menu is also good for indian business travellers. Overall hospitality...

This was our Dhaka base both prior to and at the end of a 12-day trip around Bangladesh. Not having visited the country before, it was difficult to assess any of the hotels used until the end of the trip, when meaningful comparisons could finally be made. The Rosewood has the advantage of being in a relatively quiet location in...

On Fridays and strike days this hotel is under 30 minutes from the airport. At other times... Given the atrocity of Dhaka's traffic it is a long, slow journey to and from the sights your guide book will tell you to take in. So if passing through or you need to be in the Gulshan district it may be OK....

Th hotel is average and probably good value for the price - everything is okay - breakfast is okay and service is okay and the rooms are okay (with the exception of the beds which are very firm / hard) - the location, however, is excellent and that can make up for a lot when you are dealing with Dhaka...
