See the other recent review - which I wish I had read... I have stayed here twice before for business when the bill was settled by someone else. Knowing the location, the need for me to be near the airport for an early morning flight, and the wish for AC for the night as it has been very hot to... More

Booked on hotels.com, and prepaid in advance. On the same day I was to arrive (in fact, during my flight), the GM emails me and tells me that because of a payment booking problem between his hotel and hotels.com (which may be Expedia operated; he kept saying Expedia), I would need to cancel my booking with hotels.com so that I... Stayed her for about a week. For the price you're paying it's really good. They offer all the basic needs and I found the service very good. The airport pick up was free, which is quite rare among other hotels in dhaka. The breakfast, which is included, is good but with some limited items. Overall I'm very satisfied. This hotel... More

I've stayed here 6 times now--I buy the staff chocolates. They work incredibly long hours and do their best even though levels of English are variable. They have to deal with all nationalities--that is why I am surprised that one person had a negative experience over a reservation. They are always obliging to me. OK, the restaurant is not the... The Staffs are extremely rude. When arrived they simply denied to give us room saying the previous occupant is extending their stay!!! They didn't even care to offer us a different room or even inform us prior arriving though our mobile number and email address both were given. Never faced such pathetic situation anywhere. I will never ever even get... More

Good Budget Hotel, room / structure belonging to little older times. Old school type inner decor which is nice for a change, Fod is good from the restaurant and choice is restricted for Veg menu. Surrounding area is afe, near the Russian embassy. Close to market area, so can go for evening walks.

The hotel is definitely not the best but it's a basic place to spend sometime here. I unfortunately had to land in Dhaka due to bad weather in Kathmandu. The airline decided to keep some of us in this hotel. I was last in the group and I was lucky that I remained single at last and got a single... More

I had a nice stay at Marino hotel Banani. The first room I was offered was not satisfying and I discussed with the hotel staffs. By the following morning, I was offered a very excellent room on the third floor. The hotel served good breakfast and the staffs are really diligent; they make you feel at home. The services were... I stayed in this hotel with my colleague in business trip. Hotel has little old type of interior, rooms are specious, but service is not upto the mark to merit the charges. Even though hotel is in aristocrat area, but adjucent to canal. In complementary breakfast there is very little choice. In same price I hope there is better option... More

Location: 20 minutes for Airport, just 300m off the main road, faces the Banani lake. Market area in 5 minutes walking distance. Pros: 1. Close to airport and Naval and Army area. Not too far from city centre - about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. 2. Clean large rooms. I was on the fifth floor. Large toilets. Clean linen. 3.... More
