Stayed there while on business. They have indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Most of the staff very helpful. If you required anything the staff member at the reception desk hotel 2 was very helpful. The rooms kept clean and towels changed everyday. Breakfast was good plenty to choose from. You can take a cab into the city which is only 10 minutes away depending on the traffic. It only costs around 5 to 10 manat. Would recommend for a stay there.

Green City is the property you should definitely book if you are visiting Baku with your friends. They have hotel rooms, hotel apartments and villas too. We stayed in a hotel apartment and it was very spacious with 2 bedrooms and attached bathrooms along with a hall and kitchen. Amenities are top notch with an indoor pool, football ground and several other. Staff is very understanding and ever smiling. That makes the stay all the more pleasant. Breakfast is a very good spread. The only con is that it's a little away from the city but cabs are easily accessible and they would cost you around 5 Baht. In short if you are looking at a peaceful stay with your loved ones, Green City is a good choice.

We stayed here for 8 nights as we were attending Bmx worlds champs nearby. I think an important thing to remember is that we are in another country and some things are different - go with the flow. This hotel was not quite as I expected but there were some good points and the majority of the staff members were very helpful and responded to the situations quickly We stayed in a double hotel room. It doesn’t look like the photos on the internet and was very small. We rearranged the furniture a little and made it work, but be aware, it’s not what you see on the photos. We had what I would say was a queen size bed with a single sized duvet, but it was pretty warm so worked ok. We had a very helpful staff member on duty on the desk in block 1 for the first days following our arrival on June 1st There is a kitchen available for use on each floor which is great and the room fridge is a good useable size. Our bathroom water was brown at times but that is because they had it rooms into service that were not normally used, it did clear after running. We had a small issue which maintenance tried to rectify as soon as it was reported. The bathroom is compact, The wardrobe space is excellent and robes are provided. There are good number of tv channels available, bottled water in the corridors, towels are changed daily but bedding is not changed and the room is not swept during your stray. I believe the outdoor pool was green up until the day before we arrived, but the chemical balance was sorted by the time we arrived and the pools and surrounding areas were great. The indoor pool area is lovely. And the gym well equipped. The website states there are Turkish style baths, but we were unable to locate them. There is a small mini mart on site with a great staff member. Produce is limited but they responded quickly to need and increased options. There is also another couple mini marts around 15 mins walk away and a huge market an Uber away or a bit longer uber brings you to a fab supermarket in the suburbs Our stay was good. It is only about 15 mins uber from the city centre and is a great location for the velopark. I think staff responded quickly to problems as they arose and as I say our stay was good but I can imagine if you visit when there are not so many guests the facilities may not quite be up to standard. Breakfast was good and again adapted quickly to meet needs for the clientele. We did not go hungry and enjoyed eggs, mushrooms, potatoes and fruit each morning. The website states it is opposite the beach, which strictly speaking is true, but I have no idea how you would get to the bit of beach opposite and also, about 500m from shore is an oil rig type structure! We never got to visit the beach. We found a good number of staff spoke enough English to communicate and to be honest - you are visiting a country where English is not widely spoken, so you need to ensure you can communicate. Google translate was not always accurate 😆 The green city cafe offers an affordable varied menu. We visited on our first night. One meal arrived and mine arrived 2 hours later after repeated requests. No apology but food was ok for the money. We tried again a couple nights later, but after asking for a menu and sitting at a table with many staff walking past for 15 mins without coming to serve us when they weren’t even busy - we ended up leaving and making cheese on toast! The bar is ok to visit but I reallly can’t recommend the cafe at all. There is no poolside service at all - either service or clearing of used glasses etc. Head next door to seabay - service and food is excellent and cheap! Security gate guys were excellent We also had friends staying in a villa which was very spacious but perhaps not 4/5 star in many other ways Would I stay here again? Probably, as whilst our expectations were not fully met, I was happy with the facilities and venue. The price would need to reflect, although speaking to others who stayed in 2 alternative nearby options- it is as I said at the start, simply a different country - one that is fabulous and different to experience
