We were a group of ten senior citizens. We stayed on the third floor. The rooms are very spacious. Corridors are wide and well lit. As the hotel is new, all furnishings are perfect. Breakfast offers a wide choice. Facilities include two swimming pools and a turkish bath. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Front Office Manager Rasim Ibrahimov was of immense help. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Our thanks to him and his staff.

Hotel is situated mid way between the airport and the city centre. There are no bars , shops, entertainment places etc within walking distance of the hotel. I travelled as part of a group with transport/excursions laid on so it was not too bad for us, just a bit inconvenient, but, I would not have liked staying there if I had to travel into the city for everything, say, on holiday with family. The hotel is a bit of an oddity, for its age and rating one would normally expect a modern contemporary hotel, cool looking, this is more like a large 'plush' old style Hilton (though not of that standards) with chandeliers, large rooms, wide corridors, dark woods etc. It has a well stocked bar, very reasonable prices, large dining room, very large swimming pool,( the largest indoor hotel pool I have ever seen), very large well equipped gym. outside garden bar and a Spa. It just doesn't quite hit the mark for a new 5 star. The bedrooms are very large and well equipped, safe, large screen tv, large bathrooms, slippers, safe, toiletries, but not slick and modern. There are lots of staff, but service is slow (30 min wait for a coke and water in dining room) it needs perking up, the staff are there but they don't appear very experienced, friendly enough but lacking urgency. It is not as bad as some of the reviews suggest but could do with improving. The problem with the wifi is that there is a separate one for each of the floors and public rooms, so the wifi in your room may be fine, then you go to the bar you have to re-enter a different code to a separate wifi transmitter, then off to 3rd floor to meet friends then another code etc. Cant really understand why. Once you got the hang of this it performed ok.

With a exception of a few staff very sloppy service and would rate them a zero service wise. Hotel is good as far as rooms and amenities are concerned otherwise would not recommend this Hotel. Staff are very unprofessional and not as you would expect Also asked for a multi Plug was not given the same saying it was out of stock. A strong no....to all

5 stars? I wouldn’t even give this hotel 2 stars. Terrible WiFi which hardly ever works, smelly bathroom, no toilet paper, called the reception to ask them to bring toilet paper and had to go down there myself because after 30 minute nobody showed up. Called reception another time to ask for the room service menu but, again, nobody ever showed up. Reception is extremely unfriendly and rude. Hotel is extremely far from the city center & I could go on forever. A joke of a hotel. Do. Not. Stay. Here.

From my perspective this is not a 5 stars hotel, so my review is based on 4 stars. I do not like to write a long story but this one may help the hotel management to improve some areas - THE GOOD: The room is spacious, the breakfast is so good (for the hotel standard), the polite catering manager is always around and monitoring all activities during breakfast and always wants to ensure that all guests are happy and satisfied. Since the hotel is 6 km away from the city, there is a free shuttles bus I think every 2hrs (round trip). The in-house pool looks good and big alongside the gym. -THE BAD: Location is so bad, you need transport to take you to the city and there is no good place outside to walk unless you want go to metro station. The worst thing was room temperature! we arrived on 28 Apr around 5pm the temp outside was 20c and inside room was 28c no ventilation and no air circulation (the room was warm), I switched on the AC and set the temp number to 22, few mins later the temp increase to 30c the room became hot. When I talk to my companion next room he said the bellboy told him there is no AC in the room only heater (miserable holiday at a starting point, money nonrefundable!), I tried to open the window “guess what!” the window is opening inside the corridor (I think 70% of rooms in this so-called 5-star hotel do not have outside view), topside of this beautiful decorated corridor covered by glass which lighting by the sunshine and that is the cause of heatwave. Anyway, after talking to the front desk staff who confirmed that there is no cooling system in the room (AC not working), then I asked how do you run this hotel during summer? The answer was the AC would be rectified sometime in May, I asked how about other rooms? She said all are the same, then I asked can we move to another room that having proper windows and which can pay extra? She said those rooms are full and price are the same for all rooms. - and THE UGLY: You cannot stay in the room at day time, we slept two nights uncomfortable, the third day we (two couples) decided to go another place and take another hotel while still most of our belongings left them in the Rich hotel room (we did not checkout). We returned two days later before departure. We slept one night uncomfortable and the second night another problem occurred but I don’t want to explain here because we called the housekeeping manager and he solved the problem immediately with apologies and complimentary (we appreciated that)….and he is the one who turn on AC for the first time AC start cooling!! And that was our last day…..Finally, I will never go back to this hotel again
