In the center of the capital, this hotel is a very good option. The room and the baht room were always clean. In the reception and in the bar, the staff was nice and ready to help. The breakfast was good. Outside there are bars but from 23h people are advise to be quiet.

That was really shame to be this kind of hotel with this price in Saryan street with DIRTY rooms like that!!! I went once and enter the room, then noticed sigarettes ashes besides the bed on the rag, and that was really visible to clean after! i was a bit shoked, but then i said ok, well let`s change the room and called reception and we went another room, where was one worker slept on the bed, when we enter the room), then she went out, and we can obviously see that the bed clothes was kind of a yellowbrown coloured, not well washed was! and too much hair and rest of nuts was on the rag too! and then we decide to quit the hotel, and receptionist said that is impossible and i told well we are not going to stay, then he called somebody to check something and then we escape from the hotel!

We as a group of 18 persons spent three nights at Royal plaza. Building is grand big rooms nice get up many facilities but lacks warmth of hospitality.seems They have 4-5 employees only. One at reception one at breakfast room and may be one or two for Cleaning. Rooms have bare minimum facilities. Bathroom is old shower closet is a pain. Toilet flushes not effective . Lady at the reception says swimming pool can be used between 6 to evening. Nice zym but sauna not working. Ask for safe at reception were asked to use one in room only. No tea coffee makers. Reception is big nice well built and attractive . Over all just so so experience.

These people have no business being in the hospitality business. I don’t know why anyone would give this hotel more than one star. The location is good, yes, but that’s all. We came in a large group, booking several (10 or more) rooms. I booked two. They would not give me an extra key so we can check on our kids who were in a separate room. In fact, when we checked out we discovered that for each unreturned hotel (plastic) key they wanted to charge $10, even those on which we wrote our names. Shower does not drain well. Instead, it splashes and floods the entire bathroom. Step out of the shower into a puddle. Air conditioning is hit and miss depending on the room you get. Most of the time i was sweating in bed, so I stay up until past midnight outside until it cools down. Hotel staff needs to shower more often so the BO is not so bad when they try to come and help you. Breakfast is meager, flies flying around and sitting on food. Dirty plates are left on breakfast tables, not replaced until all the tables are dirty. My wife even went in the kitchen once and asked them if they needed help washing dishes because we had none to use outside. I’ve never seen their orange juice or water fountain more than one inch full, not sure if it is from yesterday or today. This is only some of what we have experienced. The rest of our large group have similar stories. None of them is coming back to this hotel.
