room well worn but acceptable. breakfast average-good. be sure to ask for espresso coffee (included) rather than instant powder at hot water urn. front office staff always smiling and joking with english speakers. supermarket and great bakery within 2 blocks. easy walk to main chrch and restaurants in luna park.

Silachi Hotel is very good hotel. The location is prime location in capital. You can find metro station, banks, currency exchanges, markets at walking distance. Hotel staff is very polite. Breakfast is good.

The girls at reception have a huge attitude problem who do not wish to serve anyone or rectify anyone's problems. Very few people can actually speak English. The rooms are average and the AC is constantly on warm...so in the summer you are baking and guess what? The girls at reception do not care to rectify this. Overall, a pretty... More

Hotel is below average. Hotel is clean but don't expect even the minimum luxury in this hotel. Furniture and rooms are old style. The bed of my friend's room was broken from the middle and hotel couldn't able to fix that. The solution left was only to upgrade. Breakfast is below average. Staff is polite. Hotel rates are budget friendly.

A totally average hotel a reasonable walk from the centre (15-20 mins), picked by our tour operator. Rooms are small (I couldn't lay my suitcase flat and open it) but fine. It's very clean and the breakfast decent enough. Decor and furnishings could do with an update but was a comfortable and safe. Staff friendly. Wouldn't be my pick of... More

This hotel was selected by the management of the tour group I was travelling with so those who paid the money had no say in the decision. To me it was a cost saving exercise in a city where much better located hotels were available. The Silachi is a link to the Soviet era and is in desperate need of... More

Good view of Mount Ararat ( during clear skies) on the high floors. Spacious room, next to main street and walking distance to major attractions, comfy beds and sofa set. The only setback while I was there was that they are reconstructing a number of beds on that floor and i was noisy. I can't have a good siesta/nap on... More
