Far away from the city center. However, when you take into account that a taxi costs just 3$ it does not matter. Be careful with a driver... We had to listen to a really noisy music (not a classical one:)) and feel the smell of cigatetes... Coming back to the hotel - very spacious room, quite good cuisine (especially dinner)....

Stayed there for about a week and the hotel itself is very nice (great food, service, rooms etc.) but the location was horrible. Taxis rarely know how to get there, there's public transportation that passed by the hotel but they don't operate at night so it's a pain to get back to the hotel if you're staying out a little...

Yes it is a bit far from the downtown, yes some of the taxi drivers doesn't know the "new name" of that area..it was known as "the third village": "yerrort kuygh" and now it is called Silikyan District! But the staff is helpful and you have a view on the Ararat Mountain

The location is a major drawback. It's 15 minutes drive to downtown and three outta four cab drivers didn't know the place! I even gave them the hotel card with hotel address written on it both in Armenian and Russian languages ... but in vain ! The hotel itself was so-so too. Our room (#231) faced a wall and had...
