Detailed Reviews
My girlfriend and I visited Nha Trang and stayed at the Alana. It was the best hotel we’ve stayed in during our trip through Vietnam. The facilities were immaculate and the staff were even better. They helped with all our taxis, day tours, night life recommendations and even helped with rebooking our flights. If you plan on visiting, speak to either Duyen, Huy, Pham or Tinh. They are the MVPs of the hotel. They even bought us food from a local street cart to ensure to us that it was safe.
We are foodies, party goes, and site seers. This is the place to stay.

The Alana Beach Hotel is a good option while staying in Nha Trang. The hotel is in a great location. The pool, gym and spa are all top notch. The staff were friendly and helpful although their English was poor. The room I reserved was a ocean view suite. It was clean and had a good bed but I was disappointed how small the room was. Don’t think it was worth the extra expense. The bathroom has a glass wall which was odd (probably to make the room look bigger then it was). We discovered later that there is a curtain for privacy. Be aware although the location is great it is very noisy at night. Earplugs were provided.

Alana Hotel is a 4 star hotel, but it has just opened up after covid. A lot of their facilities are not available or working, the photos on the website are not what the hotel looks like at the moment.
There were no umbrellas or cushions on the deck chairs on the pool deck.
Pool deck bar was not operational, the jacuzzi was not working, the cafe was closed, breakfast was not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel & they did not have sunbeds available at the beach due to not many visitors to their hotel.
Our fridge in our room was not working, BUT after giving feedback to our travel company they contacted the hotel, and each day things got better at the hotel.
sunbed cushions & umbrellas were provided, the fridge was changed and the breakfast improved each day that we stayed.
Our room was very nice & very clean, we had a view of the beach from our room.
This hotel biggest plus, is their staff they were fantastic and very friendly.
The staff in the restaurant were very friendly, and did their best every day. Each day the staff at the breakfast restaurant added more & more options.
This hotel will get back to their 4 star rating for sure, as you can see that their current issues are all due to the covid lockdown.
We would stay at this hotel again, it won't be long till they are back to their 4 star rating.

This hotel's accessibility to Nha Trang beach is definitely a plus. Imagine just a 5-minute walk and you're at the beach already. For 3 persons, the room is so spacious with comfortable beds. Shower hose and bath tub just need a little fixing. Overall, it was a good experience.

The Locaton of the hotel is great for the beach.
First impressions when you walk in, is the nice lobby. The staff on the front desk do not speak English so it's difficult to.communicate.
The sea view room was very nice although the coffee table had what looked like cigarette burns on it which didn't look great.
The downside is the swimming pool overlooks a huge building and the gym and spa are not very functional. The steam room was closed which is why I booked here. Breakfast finishes at 9am which is way too early.
Would I recommend this hotel?
No. There are better hotels in the area.
If the facilities were properly open then it would be a decent hotel.

Beautiful room on the 9th floor with beautiful views. Perfectly cleaned every day. Nice shower. Good breakfast option; the yogurt is especially delicious. Swimming pool on the top floor. Hotel is within walking distance of the beach with good restaurants and shops nearby. Stretchers with parasols can be used free of charge on the beach.
The only downside: loud music on the beach in the evening/early night, which can keep you awake. Earplugs are available in the room.

We were supposed to stay in Alana hotel for 4 nights but we ended up booking 2 more nights since we really enjoyed our stay. The location was super - the beach is nearby, there is lot of nice restaurants and shops nearby. Hotel facilities are great as well - good breakfast, nice pool and bar and gym with a nice view!

The hotel itself is good, staff is friendly, although no one knows English. But, there are a few big minuses. I took higher class room (deluxe).
1. Safe was not working. I asked to change it.
2. Fridge was also not working. I asked to change 2 times, but still got barely working one.
3. The biggest minus is Aircon system. It’s broken. Very stinky and humid air comes out of it. And there’s no way to fix it. I asked, then a guy tried to do something - eventually it got even worse. It’s hard to sleep with this horrible aircon. So I can say it’s a huge minus and no one is doing anything to fix it.
So think twice before coming to this hotel.
Location is perfect.
Unfortunately, everything was out of service- sauna, steam sauna, spa, gym etc. I think, since in December there are not a lot of customers. But, if I knew that, I’d take cheaper hotel without these facilities. Otherwise, I want to use all these facilities.

A beautiful hotel located within 1 minute of the beach. Rooms were immaculate and very quiet; staff were friendly. A large selection for breakfast. Lovely rooftop swimming pool. It’s a hotel where you’d be pleasantly surprised. Thanh (Hermes lover) was very helpful!

I stayed here for 3x nights. The hotel is in a wonderful location, and has a great infinity pool overlooking the ocean.
My boyfriend and I stayed on the 16th floor, our room was nice- it was a fairly good size. The views were wonderful, however, the windows are not very sound proof- each night the music blaring from a nearby club kept us awake into the early hours of the morning.
The room itself wasn't as clean as I would of liked- there were hairs in the bed and in the bathroom around the sink area. A black hair which was near the tap when we arrived remained there for the whole of our stay!?
The bed was comfy, wifi worked well and it had good air con.
The breakfast wasn't anything to rave about, it was alright. The restaurant area clearly isn't big enough for the size of the hotel, each morning we witnessed people having to wait for tables and staff rushing around to clean and relay them.
The lifts were also a problem for us. There were only two guest lifts in this hotel and
no stairs, for a building with 21 floors every time we wanted to go up or down to a different floor we had to wait a good few minutes which was frustrating, I think having stairs accessible to the guests would be nice.
The infinity pool and bar on the top floor were amazing, using the pool and seeing the views were definitely a highlight of our stay.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and most of them spoke very good English. I left my bikini in a taxi one afternoon and the lovely receptionist rang and managed to get it back for me! The hotel also helped us arrange a transfer to DaLat for a very good price.
Overall we did enjoy our stay at the Alana hotel, we just feel that already some of their standards (cleanliness) are slipping and for a fairly new hotel this shouldn't be the case.

Hi ... stayed there a bit less than a year ago: huge development then at ground level between the Alana & the beach - destined to be a high rise. 😥
Perhaps this construction has blocked out ocean views????
This hotel DEFINITELY has rooms with balconies ....
Great staff, good location, modern facilities & contemporary decore ... without ocean views I'd be a bit sadder, but I'd still stay there.
For absolute views I could also recommend the Novatel (stayed twice), but the Alana is better situated: just tips it in my favour.
Dear James D,
Our swimming pool is open from 8:00-20:00, and the rooftop bar is open until midnight.
Best regards,
Alana Management Team
