Because of the virus situation the hotel was maybe 30% full and it also meant we had to cut short our 13 day stay to 9 days to catch the last flight back to the UK. I think we were the last but one guests to leave. The hotel is in a quieter part of Nha Trang, which suited us, with a short walk to a local supermarket and 10-15 minutes walk from most of the restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The cocktail bar on the top floor was excellent. The staff were very attentive. We were always able to get loungers by the pool or on the beach but this might not be the case when the hotel is full.

This is a nice older style hotel in a quieter part of town after we had been moving down main strip all week. Nice older style restaurant as well with a good breakfast spread. Also some nice cafes in area. Great check in with well trained and staff very good English. However, The room being older style had a shower in a bathtub and we could get very limited hot water (we called for a technician which helped for a while). The bed king bed was also actually two double beds pulled together and the mattress was rather uncomfortable. For a character hotel versus modern this is a nice contrast. Beware also some of the bars in the area overcharge on beers as less competition this end of town.

Odynovo Travel booked our group of travelers into the Sunrise Nha Trang Hotel in mid February. The hotel is beautiful, service was excellent and rooms immaculate. We also took most of our meals and happy hours at the hotel when occupancy was very low due to the Chinese quarantine. Our group of 8 literally had the hotel to ourselves and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. I recommend this hotel for anyone venturing to the Vietnam coast!

Situated on the edge of the main strip it's away from the main hustle and bustle of tourists...however it's right on a busy road and there's pretty constant traffic noise. We upgraded to a Deluxe Ocean view room, whichweI felt was the right move. The room was a good size with 2 person sofa, Kingsize bed, large wardrobe and en suite. Small mini-bar and the usual tea/coffee making facilities. As with some other reviews there are good and bad points. Good; Staff really friendly and always willing to assist. Hotel, pool and rooms were kept clean. Bed was very comfortable and best one we slept on during our trip. Good selection of international cuisine provided for B&B or purchased for lunch/dinner, etc. (Try the steaks for an evening meal - ribeye is superb!) Pool is nice and towels are provided. The poolside beds have decent mattresses on them although the actual bed itself quite often had the odd broken slat/hinge. Not so good; For a 5* hotel I felt the room was a little 'tired'. On arrival neither of the bedside lights worked (fixed) and the wardrobe sliding doors didn't slide particularly well. The en suite has a bath/shower rather than separate and the bath is a plastic one. It's a steep climb in/out which causes problems if you've got mobility issues. Loud speaker directly outside the hotel broadcasts messages and music at really loud volumes (outside hotels control). Breakfast vouchers - I understand why they hand-out vouchers (stop walk-ins) however this was the only hotel (of 5 that we stayed in) that did this. Forgot them on more than one occasion which was irritating. Crossing the road has been mentioned numerous occasions and if anything, it's slightly easier here than closer into the main tourist areas. However, you do have to be careful and wait for the traffic to ease before taking your life in your hands and venturing out (traffic lights further up the road). Would we go back? Possibly, however the world is a big place and our bucket list still has a lot of places to tick off first.

I have some mixed feelings with this hotel. But in general - they are mostly on good side! Let’s start with those: Staff are helpful which is always nice. They have tried their best to make our stay comfortable. Even before travelling there, they were helpful with arranging hotel limo from the airport. Driver was courteous and vehicle was spotless. Highly recommend this over bus ride from airport. Our room was on 8th floor overlooking the sea. That was nice, despite the street noise present almost throughout all of 24 hours. We have received welcome drink for roof bar (which in my head meant beer or something) but it was only a tea. Sigh... Breakfast buffet is well stocked with all sorts of continental and Asian food and fruits and drinks. Don’t miss Vietnamese coffee. Swimming pool was also nice experience. In certain afternoon hours there is nice shade there so it’s perfect for lazy afternoon lounging. Outside hotel - is gets very messy quickly. To cross the road to go to beach, you need to pray first and pray well. Then - run for your life!. Same on the way back. Nobody, and literally nobody is following any traffic rules. Road maniacs will NOT stop for anyone. I can’t believe that city of Nha Trng is not investing on either a bridge of underpass for all these tourists to get to beach. Mad house. I will conclude my rant with a nice piece of advice Regardless of which hotel you choose on this strip, wake up early, around 4:30 am and join hundreds of swimmers waiting for sunrise in water. Water is so nice at that hour! Truly nice experience. It’s also easier to cross that highway in front of hotel. Enjoy!
