I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in July 2015. The service is somehow below standard. First, you should not expect someone to help you to carry your heavy luggage. Second, the lobby is very hot this time because of few fans and no air-condition. Third, breakfast is terrible in a very hot room. I can say the worst in this hotel is restaurant. Besides, the guest room is moderate for value even though the air condition is not efficient.
The hotel is good located, on a 5 min walk to the beach. The rooms were spacious and clean, but a little outdated. Breakfast is buffet served on the topfloor, the buffet has a wide variety of choice, but I still missed eggs or jam to have with the bread.
I'm suprised not more people are staying here. In a way, I wanted to keep this as a secret for myself, but seeing as I won't be coming back to Nha Trang anytime soon, I'm gladly divulging it here. It reminds me of those old government hotel. Usually that means bad things, but not in this case. The hotel has a certain charm, a little old and dark inside with wood furniture. Front desk staff are always very polite. I stayed at the dorm room for only $6/day. It's not your typical dorm set-up. It's actually their family room with 5 single beds. I was the only one there and had all the room to me, with an ensuite bathroom, AC, cable TV and everything. Best dorm deal in the country. For me, it was perfect. Now if you're looking for hostel atmosphere then you won't like this as it's a hotel where guests mostly keep to themselves.…
We really enjoyed our stay in Banme Dakruco. We booked for 5 nights and ended up staying 8! Banme Dakruco hotel was located perfectly for us. 3 minute walk from the beach and right off the main street with lots of great restaurants and bars. We stayed in the deluxe room and it was lovely and spacious with tv, minibar, air con, wifi etc. nice clean bathroom too. You can borrow free beach towels from the front desk. I would stay here again!
Following an unfortunate hotel booking which didn't work out we walked in off the street and asked to have a look at their Deluxe Rooms. They were more than happy to accomodate this request and we were pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The room was well furnished, very clean and large. Plenty of room in the bathroom for toiletries etc, and the shower was great. The room was very large and tastefully furnished. The front desk reception spoke adequate English and were very helpful. Give brekky a miss, and get some down town for a couple of dollars. Definately stay there again and would recommend.
