Excellent resort with great villas and amazing view of the ocean. Mr Nguyen Khac Duy Thinh was genuinely helpful and kind. He showed us around the huge property very nicely. Food is decent at the resort. Overall a very nice experience.

I recently had a stay at Hon Tam resort and I'm deeply dissatisfied with my experience. There were three main issues that left me highly disappointed: 1. Firstly, the resort is located on an island, and when I tried to arrange a boat trip myself, the security staff prevented the boat from docking and interrogated me about my whereabouts and activities. They even questioned why I would use outside services when staying at the resort. Initially, I thought it was a restrictive policy, but I agreed not to proceed to follow the resort's policy. However, when I wanted to pay the boat driver, the security staff still wouldn't allow the boat to approach for payment. After that, other resort staffs came and informed me that I can go and do what I want but I had to report and register my every move, as it was a resort regulation. This made me feel like I was in a military base rather than a relaxing resort. Despite receiving an apology from the resort management about the securiy guy's behavior, I still found the experience to be extremely unpleasant, especially for my mother who is over 60 years old and felt frightened. The resort's regulations regarding guest privacy and the intrusive nature of their inquiries were unreasonable and made me feel like I was under surveillance rather than enjoying a vacation. Beside that, the security guy treated me like a criminal than a customer. 2. Secondly, while my mother was sleeping, she was disturbed by some kind of animal, possibly a snake, crawling onto her, that made her couldn't sleep any more. I understand that the resort is surrounded by nature, and encountering snakes outside is somewhat expected. However, having a snake enter a closed room is completely unacceptable from a construction perspective. This incident raised concerns about the resort's standards and safety. 3. Thirdly, I observed a lack of consistency in the resort's management. I was informed that I could charge the mud bath service to my room and settle the payment upon check-out. However, when I went to purchase the mud bath ticket without cash, the staff refused to allow me to charge it to my room. I had to return to my room to retrieve cash before I could purchase the ticket. This was a significant waste of time. It's essential for the resort to ensure consistent information and management practices to provide a convenient and reliable experience for their guests. Despite these issues, I must commend the resort for its peaceful atmosphere, natural surroundings on the island, and the enthusiasm and helpfulness of the front desk, service, and electric vehicle staff. They were adorable and provided excellent support. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I had previously visited this resort and enjoyed its tranquility and natural beauty, which is why I brought my mother for a relaxing getaway. However, this time, I was truly let down by the service here. I had plans to recommend this place to my friends for their family summer vacation, but now I have abandoned that idea. I will seriously consider whether I would return here in the future.…

We booked 3 night in Feb 2023 and here are what we experienced: 1. The resort is beautiful, beach is nice but it has no entertainment whatsoever! 2. The room is nice and quiet, but NOT that clean at all, we can see the dirt covered clearly all over the closet, and wood floor covered by dirty spots and there. Bed is old and not comfortable. 2. Breakfast is so average, the days we stayed due to not having enough guests, therefore they don't have buffet breakfast but we have to order, and the foods come out completely COLD. 3. The part bothering us the most is that, when we arrived to Island the receptionists - one male and female staff made us wait for 90 minutes, and despite we asked 3 times for the room, they just told us to wait ! And all sudden they all disappeared ! And then we have a new female receptionist ( turned out she took over the second shift in afternoon around 2:30PM or so), and she has no clue what we are there for !!! Anyway, almost 3 hrs later we got into our room, and ironically the day we check in - we are ONLY Guests in the lobby !!! Just terrible service. The resort has LAZY staffs at front desk. We love the location, beautiful landscapes there. Service staffs are nice. Will we come back ? May be, because we love the beach and location. Just hope things will be better next time, all deserves the second chance.…

A surprise beach getaway Just a short note to thank you and all the staff at MerPerle. Thanks to all the staff from Reception (especially Ms Shane and Ms Nhu), Concierge Staff, Porter, Restaurant Staff (Tam, Trih) and the wonderful Housekeeping Staff. It's a Perfect quiet getaway. Very nice quiet resort. Perfect place to wind down and get away from busy city life. Lovely nice and accomadating staff. Able to access pool from the room by a very near shortcut. Buggy to drive you down to the beach or mudbath area. Thank you to Ms Shana and Ms Nhu for all our needs and requests.

I and my friends, total of 5 adults and 1 child, stayed in 2 large rooms at 4-bedroom villa. We had a pleasant stay at Hon Tam resort. First of all, the scenery here is really amazing. It is far away from modern life and gives you a gentle, comfortable rhythm of life. The beach is very smooth and clear. Staffs are very friendly , always greeted us with a smile. The food is relatively okay, not too special but the view from the restaurant is very good. The fixed boat schedule seems a bit inconvenient, but since we don't have need to go to the city center much, it's fine for us. This is a great place for laziness and mental relaxation. We look forward to coming back when we all have some free time together.

It is very clean and has the best facilities, and the view is amazing with the sea and swimming pool. Perfect service with friendly response of the staff made the trip happy. A delicious breakfast made the day good, and I was amazed by the convenient room service and good massages. I will definitely come back here again

Beautiful resort with panoramic view from top of the island. The rooms were spacious and clean with great view from it. pool was beautiful. Breakfast was superb. The staff are also highly professional and the location is unbeatable. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommend this place.
