I stayed at this property for two nights during my recent travels in hue city, and it was fantastic. Upon arrival they upgraded us to a suite which was quite large and spacious. The staff were exceptional in their service . When I stayed, there were not many customers at the hotel as it was during week days but all the facilities were available for the customers, such as swimming pools (3 pools and one of which was heated and was ideal for me as it was raining the whole time I was there ), gym, spa, sauna etc. breakfast was not buffet but the variety was really good and we could order anything from their menu in any quantities without any charge. They even let us check out late with no extra charge. Location is very convenient as it’s closer to many tourists attractions and only a 4km taxi ride to the city. Quiet place and overall a fantastic stay!!!!

My partner and I were lucky enough to stay at the Pilgrimage Village in July 2020. We loved everything about this place. The room was gorgeous, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, the location was very close to the citadel, and the place itself is so green and tranquil. Luckily for us we arrived while a very reasonable promotion was running, so we had a lot of very delicious food included with our package. I would happily pay more for what we recieved and we will definitely be returning to unwind from time to time and experience a little luxury. Thank you Pilgrimage Village for a lovely stay.

We stayed at the pilgrimage village for three nights. They started out our trip by picking us up in Da Nang from our hotel and driving us the 2hours by car to their facility in Hue. For how many kilometers we covered it is a good rate for the fare. We opted to stay in the “adults only” area with a bungalow and pool right out our door. I think due to Covid this exception was fairly lenient, since there were children, but there were no young babies or toddlers. Our room is lovely, and the service staff has been very kind. We had a huge spider in the bathroom (it’s the jungle so it happens) and the cleaning staff came and removed it right away. At the restaurant, I would recommend ordering the Vietnamese food because it’s been delicious. I think if it weren’t for Covid there would actually be more options to eat on the grounds, but what we have access now to is good so we aren’t complaining. Breakfast is good, coffee ironically has been the hardest to get consistently. One day we got a pot of hot coffee and the next we got a shot of instant coffee. Overall, we would recommend this hotel and it’s accommodations. We have enjoyed it and would come back again.

We stayed as Covid-19 was locking down Hue so the hotel was fairly empty and we were upgraded from de luxe rooms to two villas on the far side of the Lily Lake. They had huge bedrooms/bathrooms with large balconies and were very comfortable and quiet. Really helpful staff on reception, good breakfasts with plenty of choice near the amazing Slope swimming pool. The only disappointment was the not very interesting (and expensive) food in the main restaurant. This was surprising as Pilgrimage Village's location means it has a "captive audience" - especially in the evenings when guests may not want to get a taxi into Hue. We had lunch there when we arrived and that night went to the Eco restaurant opposite the main entrance - highly recommended. Sadly it then closed so after that we ordered snacks in the rather strange disco-themed bar. We also wondered if the hotel would be so peaceful and relaxing if it had been full. The rooms in the central area are in densely packed two-storey buildings, didn't look very private and might be noisy. Would recommend booking a villa if possible.
