This is a sprawling edifice that takes up almost an entire block. It's charming in a old-fashioned sort of way, with a huge foyer and a very large outdoor area with fountains where breakfast is served on non-rainy days. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the room was of a very good size. Our room faced the Perfume...

During our recent trip to Viet Nam we managed to stay in some very nice accommodation, but I think my favorite was this Hotel because it combined both modern and the old French Colonial styles. The interior courtyard was where you ate meals and it was very charming. Our room had the beautiful dark hardwood and a huge bathroom and...

Our room was spacious, modern and yet with a very historic feel, as one would expect from a place built in the early 1900's. Lovely staff, excellent breakfast served in the dining room, not the garden due to the rainy day. Very good value.

We stayed at the Hotel Saigon Morin for 2 nights in November. It is a grand historic hotel that was built in 1901. It is reminiscent of French Colonial style with white moldings, high ceilings and a spiral staircase. We stayed on the third floor in a Colonial Deluxe room overlooking the inner courtyard. The room was spacious - easily...

Fantastic service as soon as you enter the door from all staff. The foyer is very charming and takes you back in time. Rooms are so big I was impressed and fresh fruit left in the room for you to enjoy. Hotel was exceptionally clean but rooms had an over powering musty smell. Breakfast was really good but juices tasted...

Originally built by the French in 1901, Hotel Morin Saigon as it is now named, hosted some prominent guests, including Charlie Chaplin and his bride, Paulette Goddard, during their 5 month honeymoon tour of southeast Asia. Later the communists adapted the hotel for more pedestrian purposes. It has now been renovated and retains all the charm of the bygone era...

This hotel is classy [except for lost in~room TV picture]. I only had two nights but cannot overstate the quality of room, staff and general ambience. Sadly the weather closed in so could not dine in the delightful outdoor restaurant but room service was fine and breakfasts in the main restaurant excellent. Staff were extremely attentive, polite and efficient. Enjoyed...

This hotel is over 100 years old and thanks to a significant remodel a few years ago, it is a treasure to enjoy. The staff is exceptional - wonderful. The rooms and restaurants reflect their heritage, very nice. Next to famous bridge over perfume river.
