We have just end a day for relaxing in the hotel , no more word than fantastic very nice room The staff is very professional and just trying to help as much as they can. Everything is done with a smile and you feel super welcome. Good breakfast buffet. Highly recommended !!!
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location on the perfume river and right in the heart of the city. Lots of good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. My favorite restaurant is Nina’s Cafe about a 15 min walk. The citadel/Imperial city is also close by. I enjoyed an excellent massage at the hotel Spa. Ms. Nguyen Quynh Dao made sure we had everything we needed, provided lots of suggestions, and was an absolutely charming lady. I highly recommend this hotel.
Had a nice stay at the Huong Giang River resort. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was nice enough, I even had my own personal sauna and spa in my room! (Amazing!!) Restaurant was adequate enough. Right on the river. There was a money exchange at the reception desk. The rooms felt a little older, and had a slight musky smell, but it wasn't unbearable. (It had just flooded there a couple days before I arrived, so I'm not holding that against them. ) Nice and close to lots of restaurants and bars, the night markets were only a short walk from the hotel. The only down side was as soon as you left the gates of the hotel, the local people would start harassing you to get in their rickshaws or buy stuff from them.. it was constant. But that's not the hotels fault. Everyone in Hue was trying to hussle and make money off you. For the price it was good 👌…
Not a clean room, generally poorly kept felt like a old school house in places, the pool wasn't appealing to go in, not a 4 star resort. There was no spa even though it said. Breakfast was in unimpressive Not too expensive but I was expecting more
After several days at another top hotel in Hue, I decided to try this one out because it was half the price, and cheaper than some other popular 4 star hotels nearby. I was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive. At check-in, I was upgraded from a garden to a river view without charge, since it was available. The hotel is older but well kept and clean. The view of boats on the river from the Cafe and restaurant are nice. The breakfast buffet has everything a Westerner or Vietnamese guest could want. The location is great. Comparatively, this is an excellent choice.
This place is a joke! They call it a 4 star hotel and it is not cheap but the place is a wreck. It must have been nice 30+ years ago but they have never renovated or even have done proper upkeep. The spa and sauna are closed but they still advertise it’s open. It’s just an overall bad choice, don’t be scammed or fooled like I did with they doctored up pictures. This place should not be more then 20 usd a night tops.
Visitted many hotels in Vietnam and this one, although looks really great from outside, was big dissapointment. The shelves in closet were so dusty that we did not use the closets at all. Great location but the dust, especially at the time of Covid-19, was unacceptable.
We were told by our Tour Guide that we had been "upgraded" this hotel as our pre-arranged hotel in Hue had to close due to a "medical issue". We were puzzled as to how the property was considered an upgrade. The whole place was held together with toothpaste and sticky tape. It was clear that the Hotel was glamorous and luxurious in its heyday -probably 50 years ago. The location on the riverside is stunning and the size of the property is impressive. Walk along the common hallways and the carpet is worn and stained. The doors to the rooms barely fit on the hinges, leaving big gaps from which you can see into the guest rooms. Our bed was actually 2 beds pushed together - usually not an issue - however my husband's bed base was broken and sagged and squeaked and complained at every movement. The bathroom was terribly maintained and the shower leaked water all over the floor, causing a slip hazard. Towels were thin and small and more were needed to mop up the water on the floor. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was very average. We are glad that we stayed at this Hotel only for 1 night, however regret not staying longer in Hue which is a lovely city. The hotel location is very good and within very close proximity to the dining and entertainment precinct.…
Friendly staff with good English skills, clean and spacious rooms, comfy bed, serviceable pool for the kids and fitness room for my husband, lovely view from the restaurant, and a great location. We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. We only wish there had been more vegan options at breakfast, suitably labelled. It was difficult to find what we could eat beyond fresh fruit.
My initial 3 nights booking at HUONG GIANG, for the sole purpose of visiting Hue, ended up in a full week's energizing and happy holiday! ♡ Have a look at my photo collages where I've tried to express my impressions! ☆ The staff and the management of HUONG GIANG is top notch: General Manager Nhan Nguyen walks on his daily rounds to greet the guests and to support and encourage the employees. ☆ Efficiency, friendliness and job satisfaction permeates the hotel! ☆ Comfortable, beautifully decorated rooms, a generous breakfast buffet, good training facilities in gym & pool and an attentive staff were the perfect ingredients for a healthy holiday! ☆ The oriental architecture of the interior, spacious and inviting, and the outdoor picturesque surroundings creates an feeling of being captured in a bygone era. And not to forget the stunning view of the Perfume River! ☆ I appreciated that HUONG GIANG's guests are mainly adults, and it's easy to connect with other guests. The Lobby Bar is a good meeting place, as is the lovely pool area. ☆ A few minutes' walk from the hotel is a walking streets area with lots of small shops, cafés, mini markets, restaurants, spas etc.…
